Great video coach! I find it really hard to get ready to go to the gym but once I'm there and start boxing I feel amazing. Most of the time I feel pretty much nothing (this empty feeling kinda hard to describe), though in my case it is linked to non-pschological health issues (which can lead to a depression like state like severe a Vitamin D deficieny and one or two other things).
So if you feel depressed get off your ass and MOVE IT! 😉

I'll just give a bit of background info.
I had work related injury that left me unable to walk for the best part of 12 months. As I youth I competed in many sports, and represented the UK in various EU athletics competitions. Even though I drifted out of love with competitive sports, I remained active.
So getting run over by a lorry and forced indoors was, how can I put this, a shock to the system.
I've been suffering with major depression for the best part of a decade. I'm now 31, became a recluse, and essentially lost everything I loved.
It's only been a month since I started working out again. And the change in me has been colossal. So positive about life. I'm planing again, wanting to meet people again, and just wanting to live life.
I have had a set back during last week. I was feeling low, and issues cropped up again. But I beat it out of me with hour long sessions. However I didn't follow my own advice during the weekend, and got really low. The feeling of guilt because I was happy wore me down, and for the first time during this recent low period, I didn't work out. What a mistake that was 🙂
Well not sure what else I can wright. It wont be for everyone, but you should at least give it a shot.
Just done a 40 minute session (if you said that about me 4 weeks ago, I'd laughed at you), feel great, and I'm going to get my first tattoo as a daily reminder that I cant slip up again.

I don't have any friends and I do have some family members but none who can or will go with me. Part of the reason why I'm depressed IS because of lack of friends and/or a boyfriend. I used to go walking but I still came home to an empty apt at the end.
Yes, yes, yes!!!!! I suffer from depression and anxiety. It can be crippling. I had forgotten how much better I was feeling when I was exercising regularly. I got away from it when I got pneumonia and didn't pick it back up a few months ago. The depression and anxiety returned with a vengeance. I've just recently started exercising again. It's amazing. It's true that there's no magic cure but as soon as I done with even a brisk 30-minute walk I feel SOOOOOOOOO much better. It's like my mind is completely different. If anybody is reading this, believe this coach. He's absolutely right. Depression and anxiety can go straight to hell. Please, if you're suffering, give yourself a chance. Try exercise. It's the best "drug" ever.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to uncover how to control depression try Elumpa Cure Depression Alchemist (just google it ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got great success with it.
