I would love to read a follow up article on how she was able to afford to travel for a year.

Thats wonderful. It's nice to see she was able to destress and learn herself the way she wanted to. I love traveling.

I'm at a point in my life where I really need a break from the stress of the daily life. After I finished school I started to study law for six years and after that I completed my education with another two years of legal training. The last test I took was three weeks ago. Now I'm here, glad that this exhausting time is over. But I'm also devastated about the fact that I have to get a job as soon as possible as my financial situation doesn't allow me to do anything else. I don't really want to get back into this obligation and I feel like I'm too exhausted to do so.
So I would love to take a break and to travel the world. The thing stopping me from doing so is that I really don't know how to pay for a one-year-trip and how it will effect my working-situation after the trip.
(I'm no native speaker. Please excuse me if there are any mistakes^^)

Please share how you were financially able to do this, since traveling takes money, so that others could be empowered to do this as well:) are you rich? we're you sponsored? put everything on credit cards? please share. i look forward to your response! thank you:)

"Brought to you by Hilton"
That pretty much explains how she was able to afford this. Please, enlighten us on how we can get sponsored so that all the costs of travel are taken care of by Hilton.
She's a phony, it looks like she's reading a script that's off screen.

Wow this has been a life long dream for me. To travel the world by myself, learn about all the different cultures, and yoga wherever I went (plus many hikes, amongst other activities :))Maybe someday I can be so lucky

Of course I would recommend travelling by yourself as you do really learn a lot about yourself and as it is also a great way to meet people.
But please don't think that because you took some time off and go travel, means that you gonna have everything figured out.

how do people have so much money to just quit their jobs and hit the road…FOR A WHOLE YEAR

Sorry, but I feel this whole thing is staged. I would also add that it is extremely dangerous for a woman to travel alone in many parts of the world. Oh yes, she wasn't alone, the camera man was there with her.

Hello! There are quite a few recurring questions here, so I will address them! First of all, all of the content you see is 100% mine – I used a regular point and shoot Sony camera for still shots and a GoPro for the videos. I am NOT rich – I had a corporate career for 8 years, and I saved my money. PopSugar did NOT sponsor me, they found me after my journey. Little by little, save your money and you can GO!!!

Wow. Look upto you. All the negative commenters… you are really only limited by your mind. Finances (can come from crowdfunding, savings, volunteering) and time are secondary… the toughest is to take the call.
