This slower-paced, gentle practice invites you to focus on grounding through the feet, working with the currents of energy through the back and front body, and the marriage between the movement and the breath.
If you are feeling a little tired today, heads up, I got you. In fact, you will stay on the ground in a comfortable seat pose stretching it out for about the first 10 minutes.
Look. It’s all about connection.
Take the time to seek it, play with it, unlock it, use it to bring yourself back to savor the moment, over and over again.
Stay open to the small (or large) ways in which these practices can show up off the mat.

How did this fly by so fast? When Adriene said pat your pet, I just patted my mat! It just felt natural, haha. She's supporting me while doing yoga every day, after all! 😀 Such a wonderful session, I didn't even expect something so calm and slow when I saw synchronize. Day 17, wohoo! Today's yoga was my Mother's day gift from you, Adriene, and all the other mothers who love your workouts. I finally did slow down enough to be on pace with you – that was a big success for me, and yet couldn't believe how fast the class was over! " Happy Mother's Day ".

I woke up this morning feeling very anxious from a bad dream, I scheduled an appointment wrong and missed it by an hour, and felt the stress of my moving day approaching. My chest was so tight, and I felt nauseous and so angry with myself for missing my appointment. But instead of going on my phone or turning on the TV, I ran to the kitchen to make tea, and said to my mom " I gotta go do yoga to work through this mood!" I ran upstairs and committed to my practice. I still feel disappointed in myself, but I am so proud that I made the decision to turn to yoga for healing, and not my phone or Netflix! Something is changing inside me, and I can see it in those moments of distress. So I am grateful for that!

I came here from the Breathe Journey which I loved. The practice today reminded me of what I enjoyed most about that journey. As an asthmatic these sessions are most beneficial to me. I don't know what she does but I keep showing up..
Snowing in Dunedin New Zealand at the moment. Loved catching day 17 with two fires crackling away. Totally indulgent moment. Thank you for a perfect session. I'm surprised at home my body has become stronger and more toned in such a short time. ❤️

I have done 3 so far, this is my 2nd rounds doing "Home" but I have to tell you your rambling is SUPER annoying, please stop it, I have seen other mentioned it some in a disrespectful way, so I apologize if am being disrespectful, but your rambling throws me off most days. Some days I come to Yoga and that's all I want that day, not to hear your voice rambling on & on & on &……

The breathe exercise while sitting made my upper back hurt. It feels it was stretched in a good way and a hard way. Anyone experienced it? Haha
So far, for me, day 17 was the most challenging of this journey. All together but especially the part with arms behind our backs and with the transition to the Warrior One.
I still took from this practice what I could, I definitely learned something in the last 7 months of doing yoga with Adriene. For example, I understood that my frustration was coming from the fact I was doing something wrong because I know that usually if I'm doing yoga with the right approach, the same movement feels different. And when I understood it, I understood I was not putting power in my feet and when I did it, the boring movement stopped being boring =)
And an interesting thing happened today, the weird side when we interlace fingertips didn't feel weird at all! I even had to redo it back to normal one to understand if the side was the weird side! XDDD

did this one at 10:30pm to squeeze it in! had absolutely no desire or patience to do yoga today but i'm learning those are the days i need it most, proud of myself for continuing to commit for myself and show up on the mat!
I like the idea of the journey from the back of the mat to the front 😊
i did 16 and 17 together spent a whole working hard on my laptop and these today so helped release all the creaks and groans.
Today, I successfully get up and complete the program! Tomorrow I aim to get up with less hesitation! Have a great day everyone!
