Hill Running Workout – BURN FAT Conquering the HILL FROM HELL! – ATHLEAN-X™

by YouTube Team

Perhaps the most challenging workout you can put your body through would be a high intensity hill running workout. I decided to do just that and I attacked not just any hill…but the hill from hell!

With a combination of forward sprints up the hill, bear crawls, backward runs, and crab walks…..conquering the hill has never been harder. But it also has never been this effective at burning fat and building muscle!

Why continue to do hours of long, slow boring cardio when you can be getting three times the results in a third less time?!? It all comes down to the type of intensity that you put into your workouts. When you’re running the hills it’s virtually impossible to NOT give your all, since your body and muscles demand it!

Take the Hill Running challenge and see if you can survive the full 3-4 rounds without keeling over from exhaustion. Let celebrity trainer Jeff Cavaliere show you how to pus yourself to the limit with the Hill From Hell workout.

When you’re done watching this make sure you head over to and grab your copy of the 90 day training system that is full of unique but challenging workouts just like this….and be ripped, lean and athletic looking…”ATHLEAN” in the next 12 weeks! It’s never too late to get started!

Way to Ninja Turtle down that hill, Jeff! I had no clue that you would do anything, remotely, related to cardio! I'm amazed that you're even breathing hard! You are a Mad Ab Scientist; The Mab Scientist!

Is each "round" the 4 excercises or is each up/down one round?? I have a much, much steeper hill. To the point i cant sprint it due to sheer angle of steepness. Can I still do this? Or does the slowed pace compromise anything? ( gonna try it but I'm curious). It's Mt. Trashmore in Va Beach for reference.

I have a hill maybe 10° steeper but half as long on my property. I've run that in a weight vest before and definitely value it for conditioning. But I really don't utilise it as much as could, though I'm more inspired to use it now.🤘🏼💪🏼🙏🏼

nothing compares to chasing cheese balls down the hill… try that Jeff.. I don't know about cardiac arrest but you ll definitely die by snapping your neck if you try that…

I probably won’t get an answer to this but what type of leg injuries result from hill sprints?

Hey, Jeff. Any advice for running with asthma? I saw your video on improving pushups by squeezing your biceps together, and it's worked fantastically well. I figured with your background in physiotherapy and training you might have some ideas.

I can run maybe 10 minutes before I get short of breath. I use my inhaler; just wondering if there's any tips or body mechanics that I hadn't heard of.

Mad respect for the original Jeff Cavalier videos. This content = just as practical and relevant today minus all the shiny effects of today's youtubers. A man ahead of the curve 'afore all the kids jumped on the bandwagon. 😁
