I had no idea that you could use protein powder as a replacement for flour in recipes like this. That opens up a TON of possibilities. I miss pancakes since reducing my carb intake, so this is an awesome alternative. I'd totally support a bodybuilder-cooking YouTube channel hosted by Erica 😛

Fat free/low fat = more sugar than the higher fat version. Sugar has been found as a big cause of weight gain, why I avoid fat free/ low far products all together now. No cheese for me.

dosent the heating of the protein powder causes the protein to denature and it wont be usefull right?

Reply
Andrew The Transformer June 8, 2014 - 3:06 pm

Almond breeze unsweetened, i drink that 🙂 but 54 grams of protein is too much for 1 serving no? I guess you can have 1 crepe per meal.

does heating up protein powder not kill the actual protein in it?

Reply
Vighnesh Vasanthanathan July 21, 2014 - 1:38 pm

I just tried the recipe. My base wasnt consistent. I had lumps in my base. Was it my protein powder? Or the milk i used which was organic instead insweetened almond milk. Or do i have to stir more. Mine is a whey protein isolate. It worked well on the pancake recipe. I need help. Plus any tips on how to hit a 3070 calorie diet

It's funny how so many people are making comments about Erica's chest, large breast use to be seen as a sign of fertility and good health and now they have become the topic of dumb jokes and disrespectful comments. What do people want, for her to wear a long sleeve turtle neck well then they would complain  and probably call her a prude. Brazilian women grow up learning to embrace their bodies whether they are good or bad and a lot of american women could learn a thing or two from them. If your going to complain or be disrespectful please leave, this is a video about a simple pre and post workout meal and the only comments should be related to that.
