Cherish Hedge every moment man. I know you already know that. We just put my Sonic down. He got the infamous cancer that they tend to get, and we tried to save him but it didn’t get better. He would’ve been 4 years old today.
If your Hedge begins to stumble or walk very unbalanced, please take him to a vet.

Female dog or not, tiny dog or not. That's a terrier, and don't ever forget it. I've worked with terriers for many years and due to the way they've historically been bred, they're literally genetically engineered to kill rodents. A domesticated family dog isn't likely to just blindly attack, and as you're seeing here, might even be a bit timid at first due to the sheer unexpectedness of the situation, but make sure to always keep an eye on them, don't leave them unattended… I'm sure you don't need to be told this as you seem like a smart dude in all your fitness videos etc. But even the most spoiled family terrier has that instinct, and sometimes all it can take is a random unexpected quick darting motion from the smaller animal to just click the dog over into bloodlust the likes of which you'd barely believe was possible. I had to break up a fight between a 40 pound Irish terrier and an 80+ pound badly behaved rott at a vets office one time, and the second the fight started, the otherwise relaxed Irish terrier went into full biblical terrier mode and you could literally see the rott thinking "oh fuck what the fuck is this unholy fuckin thing." I can't say for sure who's have won the fight in the end, but at the point we seperated them, the Irish terrier definitely had the upper hand just due to sheer flip out element of surprise and ferocity. Thankfully we were quick and neither dog was seriously injured. Side note. If anyone ever has to break up a dog fight, don't get anywhere near the front ends. When they're in that mode they lose all ability to identify friend from foe and will bite anything they can reach. Get 2 people as quick as you can, and have one grab each dog by the back legs wheelbarrow style and pull them straight away from each other. I've seen some incredibly nasty arm injuries from people trying to break dogs up the wrong way, and if your own dog tags you, they always feel real shitty about it afterwards, as they absolutely don't mean to do it.

In Greece restaurants on the beach feed scraps to the hedgehogs because the hedge hogs curl up and spike up snakes so that the snakes stay away and if the restaurant has hedge hogs around then it will stay safe from the snakes

Given the fact that terriers are bred to kill small animals, especially rodents or something similar, I probably wouldn't introduce a hedgehog to Yorkie. But I'm glad things didn't go wrong.
