I believe this practice is so beneficial as we continue to navigate our days, in which it may be very easy to create barriers and blockages to protect the heart and avoid the discomfort.

So thankful for this practice today. I didn't even realise how much I needed it until Adriene said "rest your heart and soul" in childs pose. That was the moment my emotions finally bubbled over. My heart is so fearful right now with the whole situation in the UK. The social division being created by the political and covid situation is really affecting me. Much more so than at any other time during the last 2 years of this pandemic. My English stiff upper lip is definitely not feeling very stiff lol. This practice has made it into my list of favourites 🥰

I'm sorry Adriene, but you're wrong about language. If everyone 'spoke their own language' none of us would understand each other. A defining feature of language is shared meaning, which makes your statement an oxymoron.

The exercise is great. Good instructor. That's why I keep coming back for 7 years now but this chakra stuff and all of this philosophy is just not for me. So aggravating trying to make it through a yoga sequence with all of the excess baggage…
My 24th YWA session – loved it. I'm putting a comment on the ones I have done so far. It is now the 21st of December which means I'm always a full month in with yoga every day!
