My makeup routine is really not that sophisticated (contouring scares me I dunno why) but wanted to show you what I do bc maybe you can teach me a few things!
Here I am getting ready in the hotel room for my first time speaking at SXSW in Austin! I love doing panels especially about business, entrepreneurship, and my journey as a creator (it’s been since 2009, can you believe!?) so these are always fun. I love a deep, focused conversation with people who know what they’re talking about.
My jumpsuit is from Free People and my makeup is honestly from all over the place. I don’t really have any loyalty towards any makeup brand but here are a few standouts that have been bought on repeat:

For the eyelashes thing I so relate to it, I was always premised for my long eyelashes, they literaly touched my eyelids, my eyelashes aren't thick but thin and the only great thing about them was them being long which made my eyes look féminine even without mascara until five years ago I came across a dumb youtube video from a YouTubers saying cut your eyelashed and they will grow thicker, fuller and longer which I did and they never grew back instead I have even thinner and have less eyelashes than before don't remember the YouTuber but hate that I listened to her I so miss my eyelashes and I'm glad i didn't cut as much as she did say to she told to literaly cut more tha. The half length of it or maybe i still cut a good part of it 😂😭

There is no shame in knowing how to do your makeup, it almost seemed like you were downplaying yourself way too much.
I would say I’m pretty good at makeup, and I still don’t know how to put eyelashes. So you’re better than me lol.
