Most people think that squats alone are going to build solid glutes. Yes of course they will help, but for the largest muscles in your body doesn’t it seem odd that you will do 3 – 4 exercises specifically targeting your biceps, but only 1 for your glutes?

Your buttcheeks are VERY powerful muscles and focusing on them will help give you the strength you need to lift more and even fill out your jeans! As for calves, well, you can never do enough calves so we are going to superset them in on every exercise to ensure MAXIMUM growth this holiday season!

Complete Holiday Series Playlist:

• Rest 30 seconds MAX between sets

(3:50)- Routine sets & reps

(3:58)- Glutes / Calves – Superset 1
(4:02)- Alternating Single-Leg Reverse Lunge To Step-Up (4 sets: 10 reps per side)
(5:20)- Barbell Calf Raise (4 sets: 20 reps)

(8:38)- GO DEEP! Glutes & Quads! Build Muscle & Strength!

My body absorbs most of the fat in my glutes and legs, and not in the belly. How come some people are like this.. Genetics?

Hey Scott, lately because of work and college, I only have about 3 days I can get to the gym in a week on average. I have been combining your holiday workouts to fit this schedule and I have been doing the ab routine every gym day, 3 days a week. Do you believe this is enough to stay in shape and make decent gains? Ps I am sore after every work out lol.

I noticed too lately for calves without much breaks I feel it way more. would u recommend doing high reps or low reps? I've been told both but I always mix it up

can you do two of the workouts in 1 day? for example back and shoulder and then come back to the gym later, and work biceps and triceps?

Wouldn't doing the calve raises on a 45 plate give more of a stretch

I can't believe i am actually more jacked than Scott….i honestly never thought that day would come. I started out at 6'0 155lbs and now i am 190lbs 🙂
I would like to thank Scott for the motivation and advise when i first watched him 5 years ago. I would like to thank Greg Plitt (motivation), Rob Riches for getting my diet on track (and motivation), And most of all Matus Valent, that dude has the most incredible physique in my own opinion.
I have pretty well reached my goal and am focusing more on calisthenics as well as weight lifting.
Remember folks, every gram of protein counts and stay away from fast food!!!!!

I learned from BroScienceLife that training legs is a conspiracy. If you're not training biceps, you're not training.

What good is this video if you're barely showing off your glutes?

Are these holidays series good workouts for skinny guys? I've been going to the gym for 1 year and made some good gains, but now I'm not anymore. I'm thinking about switching my program.

Hey Scott another GREAT video as usual ! 😀
I just wanted to say that I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and you've helped me tremendously. I've gone from a chubby overweight 14 year old to a fit lean 15 year old boy. I used to be that kid munching on potato chips all day, but now I play sports and I have participated in 2 marathons in my country 🙂 I just want to give you a BIG thank you 😀 thanks Brotha 🙂

Hello Scott! I have a question to you. How do you think how should i do my squats: low reps and heavier weight or high reps and lighter weight. My goal is mainly to build strength.

Hello Scott when did you first start working out your upper body?

Reply
Mike December 27, 2014 - 9:12 am

I go to the gym early in the morning and work out my biceps, triceps. and chest. Then I go back to the gym 5 hours later and repeat is it bad to go to the gym twice a day and workout the same muscles twice?

Scott, is it better to have the head placed on the seat or lifted like yours in the video?  Personally, I get pain on my neck if I were to lift my head up, any reason why?

Hey Scott! I'm 15 and I'm soooo scared to go to a gym. One, I'm a girl … two, I'm skinny and I don't wanna go alone. 😂Guess I'm so comfortable with just exercising at home, but I think going the gym would be beneficial but I'd be so uncomfortable. Should I be?
