I’m so excited to be doing a regular column on ToneItUp.com! After my first column last month, all your responses and comments meant so much to me! This week I want to focus on a topic that many of you reached out to me about ~ motivation.

First, I want you to know you’re not alone if you sometimes struggle to find that motivation! I don’t know one person who hasn’t had ups and downs with feeling motivated (it happens to me too!). So please do NOT get down on yourself. In this beautiful TIU community, we are here to encourage each other, inspire each other, and build each other up! In this month’s vlog, I’m sharing a few key tips that have helped me find the strength and joy to keep going when I need a little boost. I hope these tips help you as much as they have helped me!

Haha. I still have a bathing suit from 8th grade that I can still fit & love. It's my favorite! I miss my overalls though… Those need to come back.

This was such a beautiful video. I will be honest I was hesitant at first with TIU Studio. Having a relationship with just Kat and Karena for so long it is hard to let new people in (as silly as that sounds)! I love these one on one videos with the new girls. It’s great to see their personalities. And I loved the tips….and yes I wrote them down 🙂 XO

Oh my gosh my mom needs to hear that. I tried explaining motivation to her. You workout, bc we have goals . She thinks it’s a feeling like a bubbly high that sticks with you. Persistence is def the key. Persistence and time !! Thanks for the talk !

I just started Half Marathon Training and have felt such a down since. I didnt know why I felt so unmotivated only 2 weeks in and I think it’s because I kept telling myself (if you don’t run you’ll fail the 13mile race and all that money you paid would be for nothing). I kept emotionally beating myself up. This help SO much! I wrote everything down in my fitness journal and I will go back to it when I don’t feel motivated again. Thank you so much for this and being so encouraging TIU!

My why is myself—to look good, feel great mentally and spiritually, to be able to run up a flight of stairs two at a time and not be winded, and be heart healthy. Oh, and also it’s a great role model for my daughter— staying active! And better self esteem. Hitting those goals feels sooo damn good!!! 😍😃😃😝
