Congratulations man!! I have 2 girls myself. Cherish everything, it goes extremely fast. There really is no right or wrong when it comes to this parenting thing. Just support each other and everything else will fall into place.
Congrats on the little one! Just the start of many sleep deprived nights! Also just wait until she starts to pull your beard!! LOL
WARNING VERY IMPORTANT!!! Lex! When you are transporting Penelope in the car, obviously in the car seat. It is designed to clamshell the infant with the back seat to protect her in the unfortunate case of an accident. When you have the handle (hoop) raised, it will break off near the swivel leaving two very sharp 'knives' near your infant as the car seat is forcibly pushed (clamshelled) into the back seat. Needless to say this is illegal in Canada, and I would assume it to illegal in the UK. So please be safe, everyone!! Put the hoop behind her head.
