For the workouts, it is meant to be quite hard the first couple of times you do it. There is low impact versions for this workout so do the low impact exercises or jog in place if you can’t do the harder version! No stress. It takes time to improve and build strength! You should be able to complete the workout in week 8! 🙂

Day 1: didn’t want to do it… pushed through it … had to put less effort towards the end and some low impact
Day 2: listens to podcast 100 percent recommend it takes your mind off of things
Day 3: break
Day 4: difficult but somehow I got through it
Day 5: damn I didn’t know my arms were so weak
Well, it's back to the grind. I haven't been at it for about two months. This was intense! I had to keep taking breaks and had to stop after the second circuit, my body was shaking pretty bad. I'm sure I'll get back into it!
Edit (Day 13): I was able to finish round 2! Round two was all low impact versions, but I'm happy I made progress.

I stopped working out after starting two or three weeks of this program for two months I gained 3 kgs and now am 57

I basically never post comments on youtube, I’m more of a silent follower but decided to do it to help motivate myself to come back here everyday to post my progress 💪 Have tried Chloes challenges a few times and ended up giving up all the time, so I decided to start with her first challenge (2018 summer shredding) and work my way up to her newest workouts. Hopefully it’s gonna work this time 💪
1st day: my brain realized how sedentary I truly am and didn’t wanna cooperate 🤦♀️ barely did all the exercises, If I did 5 seconds of each it was a lot, needed multiple breaks and had to pause the vid a lot.
2nd day: oh boy that was hard 😬 woke up with an extremely sore body specially my legs. Decided to do stretching in the morning and it helped release the soreness but almost gave up doing the two videos for the day but ended up doing them. It wasn’t as rough as yesterday but I’d say my brain was trying hard to convince me not to do them today due to the soreness but found out that keeping my body moving makes it feel better than just staying on the couch or laying on bed. 2nd day completed 💪
3rd day: active rest day
4th day: Today it was easier to find my way out of bed and exercise, brain didn’t fight much against it. I’m not sore today but the exercises were tough and I wasn’t able to keep up with Chloe or do all of them.
5th day: there were two vids and I did them but the “intense chest workout vid” I did super poorly.
6th day: It was EXTREMELY hard to do today’s workout. I’m more of a morning person when it comes to exercising and I postponed doing it till later at night ~terrible idea~ so my brain wasn’t happy with the idea of doing 3 videos today. I did it though and I feel really proud of myself cus I just wanted to give up and not do it 😩 there were so many jumping jacks I think that’s the only one I can keep up and do with Chloe lol the other exercises I definitely cannot do for 30 secs or more 😅 and who on earth can do the windmill one ?! Just impossible for me to do it 😩
It makes me feel so much better that I didn’t give up today’s work out 🥺
7th day: Active rest day ~ FINALLY 🥲😅
8th day: 8th day done ✅ I haven’t been feeling sore so far and today’s workout was tough specially the full body workout video, but I noticed that I was able to do the exercises better than on the first day, I still can’t keep up with Chloe and still can’t do 30 secs or more like her but I feel like I was able to push myself a bit more today. I kinda was able to do the windmill exercise today and that made me happy 😊 I do a lot of the low impact versions too. Today my brain didn’t fight against me so that was good 😁
9th day: Completed!!! 🎉🎉 Today was good, there were only two videos of 10min each and it wasn’t bad. Did mostly the low impact versions of the exercises and definitely cannot jump because it hurts my knees but all good. Today was another day that my brain 🧠 didn’t fight 💪 And it was easier to get up in the morning and do it 😁 also another bonus is that I haven’t been experiencing any kind of soreness since the last time I had it 🥳💃💃
10th day: Active rest day
11th day: It was hard to do today’s workout. Felt like my body was super weak and I drank water during the workout and it felt like my belly got floated and I started to burp and had no energy to do the workouts good. Completed today’s workout but did extra poorly with lots of breaks and basically watching Chloe do it more than actually doing myself. Seriously thinking on buying some kind of vitamin because in the end of the workout I really felt like 🤮 😩
12th day: I was able to do all the exercises except the down dog push up one 🤷♀️ it’s still hard to do all of these exercises specially the ones that requires arm strength 🥲 I do feel stronger compared to the first day. After finishing the workout I felt my body weak so definitely need vitamins. Also been noticing that after I’m done with the workout I can definitely see a slight abs definition showing on my tummy, definitely wasn’t there before.
13th day: Did it 💪 It was also hard today because I felt like my body needs more energy to be able to do the exercises. Hopefully I’ll get some vitamins today. Couldn’t do the exercises good and needed to take a bunch of breaks also and did most of the low impact versions. But day 13 is completed ✅
14th day: Active rest day 😩😅
15th day: Insane and intense for sure 😩 started to take vitamins today so let’s see if it helps ‘cus man Chloe’s workout kills my energy lol
16th day: completed ✅ It was intense and I wasn’t able to do all the exercises.
17th day: active rest day
18th day: Today was ok till I got to the “intense legs/butt workout” first time doing these and man it was a no no lol if I thought I was doing poorly before these exercises were waaaay worse lol first time I felt like quitting but I kept kinda doing till the end. Tomorrow’s 4 videos 🥲
19th day: Finally can say that it wasn’t terrible lol I was able to push myself a bit more today but my arms still pretty weak.
20th day: did it. But started not to feel motivated at all to do the exercises 🙃 I think it has to do with my diet, I started to eat a bunch of sugary stuff and that messes me up bad.
21st day: active rest day
22nd day: did it but did it poorly and I didn’t wanna do it, still not motivated.
23rd day: did it and finished but didn’t do any of the exercises good. Still not motivated at all.
24th day: just 2 videos and I did it out of habit, I’m kinda impressed I haven’t quit yet 🤷♀️ that’s the first time I’ve lasted that long doing one of chloes challenges. Anyways still not motivated.
25th day: active rest day
26th day: 6:52pm – 3 videos and I absolutely do not want to do it 😭
7:53pm – done ✅ did poorly again, lots of low impact and tired 😪
I like to go back to oldieeees sometimes ! 🥰🥰

And here I was thinking that just because I previously did the Get Fit '20 and '21 this one would be easy.

Today is day 13 of the 8 week program and I feel the need to tell you that I finally made through this workout without the lower intensity versions 😄

I'm starting today, this summer shred challenge, not sure if I do whole 8 weeks but my goal is to keep going until december at least 🙂
Height: 171 cm
Diet: Nothing special, about 1500 calories each day for first month. For a second month I was trying to eat no more than 1400 calories daily
Measurements: At the beginning —> after 1 month –> after 2 months:
Weight: 74,6 kg –> 73,0 kg –> 70,1 kg (-4,5 kg)
Bust: 102 cm –> 101 cm –> 100 cm (-2 cm)
Waist: 86 cm –> 84 cm –> 82,5 cm (-3,5 cm)
Stomach: 101 cm –> 99 cm –> 97 cm (-4 cm)
Hips: 102,5 cm –> 102,5 cm –> 100 cm (-2,5 cm)
WEEK 1 (Oct 18th-Oct 24th): Done, did all workouts but a lot of them were low impact exercises and I know for sure some of them will be always low impact versions, I'm weak and I live in apartment, can't jump too much.
WEEK 2 (Oct 25th-Oct 31st) – Done. Not gonna lie, during this week there were videos I barely did, they were really hard for me. I do see progress in my push ups – they're still far from being good push ups but I definitely got stronger. I ate too much (really TOO much) last two days cuz family part so I need to burn a lot of calories…
WEEK 3 (Nov 1st-Nov 7th): Done. So far results are not that great co i'm thinking about cutting calories.
WEEK 4 (Nov 8th-Nov 14th): Done. Done, respect to everyone who can do a single leg squat, i tried it once during the first week and i injured myself so I just do a normal squat instead
WEEK 5 (Nov 15th-Nov 25th): This 'week' was longer because I was sick and had 4 extra rest days. I'm kinda sad because I really wanted to stick to the schedule (so far I only switched rest days few times but other than that I followed plan 100%). I had a fever and felt really weak so it would be terrible idea to work out.
WEEK 6 (Nov 26th-Dec 2nd): Done, I can't believe I have only 2 weeks to do.
WEEK 7: (Dec 3rd-Dec 12th): Another 'long week' because I got some ear inflammation and it hurt so much I wasn't able to do anything lol so I had few additional rest days
WEEK 8:
Day 50 (Dec 13th): Done!
Day 51 (Dec 14th): Done :3
Day 52 (Dec 15th): Done
Day 53 (Dec 16th): Rest day
Day 54 (Dec 17th): Done
Day 55 (Dec 18th): DONE!
Day 56 (Dec 19th): Done, challenge done, I'm super happy and super proud of myself

Omg I literally just died but atleast day 1 is complete!!!! I took really long breaks but I didn't give up and completed the whole routine so yayy!! For my first real workout I think I did well!! I hope I complete all 8 weeks of the summer shred program!!
Day 8: guys trust me the summer shred challenge works. It's only been a week and I've seen so many changes in my body. I've become leaner and stronger. The 1st day I took such longer breaks but this time I did it so well. I took breaks yes but only after the 1st set and that too a much shorter break than my day 1.

Been doing chloe free programs since last January but this is the first time i did this 2018 summer shred after i did. 30 days flat stomach challenge and i must say old programs are more intense. They are even harder than 2020 summer shred.🥵🥵🥵🥵
Made it a 3rd of the way through.. Guess I'll try it again tonight and see if I can finish the other 2 circuits.. 😔

Well, this thoroughly kicked my butt into gear. I was always so relieved to get through the jumping in circuit one because my legs needed a break, only for my arms to be screaming by the end of the second circuit. You weren't lying when you said a full body workout! Thanks for this 😀

I didn't lose any weight. Yeah I didn't. But I think it's became I gained a lot of muscles. Like I could see a difference in my legs in two weeks. This was amazing even though hard. It was bruutall. But I can see a huge difference in the way I look. My clothes hang a lot looser and the amount of compliment I've been getting aren't bad too. For the first time I hear people tell me that I've lost weight. That's feels good to hear doesn't it. So go ahead and do it. Don't stop in the middle. It's worth it.

Today I actually finished the whole 8 week summer shred challenge. I am really proud of myself. I started on Oct 18th and finished on Dec 19th so it actually took me 9 weeks instead of 8 (I wasn't being lazy, I got sick twice and couldn't really work out).
Here are the results:
