After a heavy leg day, a long run or just a busy week foam rolling is a great way to ease sore muscles and aid in recovery. I’m running you through a few basic foam roller exercises that you can use between workouts to loosen those tight legs. Work at your own pace and listen to your body and remember to avoid rolling over joints like the knee. I’m moving through this fairly quickly today but aim to spend 30-60 seconds on each move spending a little extra time on those really tight spots 🙂

Thanks for the video. Only been foam rolling for the past month but thanks to this video I did my shins, thighs and IT band for the first time ever. Absolutely agony but I’m sure over time the benefits will be reaped

I recently saw the chiropractor the other day and had no idea how tender my quads were until he started working on them. These foam rolls workouts were extremely painful on my left quad in particular. Hoping I can balance out all the imbalances in my muscles etc after all the chiropractor treatment.

Do you stop and hold on the tight painful spots or just roll them out? How many weeks until you feel less pain? Great video btw very slow and easy to follow thank you for being so helpful. The foam roll is the simplest equipment so many, like me, have no idea how to use it right.

Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!!! This video was so helpful and I appreciate how you broke it down and actually did the movement you were telling us to do without speeding up the video. I can’t tell you how many videos I see where the person speeds up the activity and I have to keep rewinding to make sure my form is good. I just subscribed!
