very cool..its interesting to me that most if not all the fathers habe the sons beat. i see lots of potential here though. obviously, it will be very difficult to step into the shoes of dorian Yates, sergio Oliva, and lee labrada due to what they accomplished on the pro stages, but it will be cool to see how well they all end up doing. great video, nick.

Sorry but Sergio Snrs pics where from the 80s when he made a comback and made it to about 10th at the Olympia Comp….compare his Sons pics to Olivia at his best and it's no Competition….Snr wins without a doubt…..by a mile.

Oliva Sr's waist is way smaller; I don't know what you're seeing. His lats insert lower and his tricep sweep is better. He's better in every way, other than legs; his son has better legs.

Interesting comparisons. No doubt time will tell with the younger cohort, given their ages; they do need a few more years under their belts. Still, it's always about muscle length with the determining of size potential. Dorian's long head of his triceps extends three quarters of the way down his humerus (taking into consideration the relative length of his humerus); his son's appears to not be of the same length, being seemingly a little shorter, with a consequently longer supporting tendon. This would affect Dorian's son's potential for triceps size compared his father's, with all other factors being equal. The same factor is prevalent in Sergio's son, but with his latissimus dorsi length, where Sergio senior's are considerably longer, as is Sergio senior's calf length. It's all muscle length when it comes to size potential. Sergio senior's muscle length is so extraordinary (with his correspondingly short tendon length) that he could not achieve a peak to his biceps on flexion. With his long forearm muscles, with their mass, they would collide with his biceps, thereby affecting his ability to achieve a full biceps contraction. Sergio was "too perfect", you might say. One thing is for sure, all the bodybuilders shown in this video have very impressive physiques.

Bodbuilding is genetic. Look at the photos early on of these guys, and you'll see that they all had the same muscles as they do when they compete only smaller.
