Nick I like to see you do a video on Larry Wheels and I believe that his style of powerlifting and lifting in general with heavy weights produces a more grainy look and even though he's not a bodybuilder and there's a powerlifter setting personal records and whatnot I believe since Ronnie Coleman was the last powerlifting bodybuilder that Larry Wheels deserves a video if you haven't done one on him yet.

Nick I disagree…Just in this video he is 4th. If holding water is his problem now with then he's gonna have future issues with keeping fullness. His gut will grow more. Now the other dudes, left to right: 2nd person looks great and the one on the end looks good even better than your RedCon prospect. Sign the other two.

Luke has no chance at a Mr O, why you ask. Because he does not have the supposed " shape of a Rhoden" which we have been told, is what the judges are looking for. If luke has triceps or outstanding lower developed back..he loses! I know it's b.s.- that's what the judges dished out at this last Mr O. Can't see them going back on their word, this soon. Can you?

But…could Dorian Yates be Yorian Dates?

Reply
Romeo Mariano October 31, 2018 - 6:24 am

I think Luke deliberately copied Dorian's poses, having looked up to Dorian as his personal hero. The lack of conditioning is his biggest problem.

People are too fast on putting nicknames of old school legends to new Pro's. Majority, actually vast majority of the superheavyweigths nowdays do not leave a mark and make a real impact and end up their career being the low end of secondary shows, at the Arnold Classic and the Olympia they are a no-show, with all due respect, simply cause they make the jump from light-heavyweights into the superheavyweights in too short of a span. Dorian's transformation took 10 years to reach his peak, these guys nowdays jump from heavyweights to superheavyweights in 3-5 years spans, with a serious toll on their inner organs health, and rushing the scale, plus Dorian wasn't affected by the scale syndrome. Most superheavyweights at 6-8 weeks out starts to go paranoid and spill over cause they feel small and they ruin their conditioning overeating when actually they are coached by competent people, overdosing on PEDS (YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW MANY ATHLETES TAKE 2-3-4x what they get advised due to small mand syndrome) . Dorian was able to come conditioned cause he knew muscles doesn't disappear overnight, he grinded till every last bit of fat came away and focused on keeping that conditioned size till show time. The photoshoot in the Temple Gym in 1993, shows him at 122 chilograms/268 pounds, he shredded down to come at the Olympia an wipe out everyone, could he have won at 122? Maybe, probably, but he knew it wasn't a matter of scale weight at that point. Also the size game causes most heavyweights to develop this "DOLL SKIN" which causes them to not be able to come in really ripped unless they sacrifice a lot of their size, it is not the fat from the off-season it's HGH + INSULIN thickening the skin, to the point which no matter how much water you drain, that "plastic" effect will stick with your skin. In the 90's insulin and HGH weren't overabused actually most pro's in the off-season would use minimal hgh and focus on the AAS and food and save the HGH for the pre-contest, that's why you would see them smooth and big/fat in the off and a whole different person coming stage time

Dorian Yates 2.0, what a joke. Sandow is not even close to Dorian. He does not possess the granular condition Dorian had his entire career. Bad comparison
