Ive watched videos and interviews he had done in the early 90s the man was a genius not only did he have muscles but brains he fused philosophical beliefs along with his training noting that bodbuilding was also required a strong mental discipline aspect as well he was a firm believer in. Hit high intensity training short intense workouts training muscle till failure i respect him very much one of my favorite bodybuilder s of all time

We have the Same last name (Mentzer), My middle name is Ray, born in same town (Ephrata, PA), I Did however do some research in our local historical society but only found one connection that may help out. We both have a sweigart last name name in our family. No definite connection to him that I found. If anyone has info about him and his family tree I’d appreciate it.
