nick i disagree with u…he might be able to bring back his size but certain body parts are not going to come back for him ..his calves and his forearms..they melted..they arent coming back..cutler had melted forearms too..so did branch warren..its a genetic thing..and without those body parts hes not going to win shows..more importantly dennis knows this too..people might think he always had shitty calves..no he didnt..in his earlier days he had balanced and full calves..(2007 olympia dennis posing)..theh he lost one side left or right i am not sure and now its both legs..i just dont see it happening..i think he's done

Oh wow, this should absolutely NOT be Dennis Wolf's last show! I believe that he's got a few left in him, a few better ones at that. There would have been no point to going through all he has to get to this level if there was no intention to continue building and competing. Also, I've never liked Dave Palumbo but I've gotta "give the Devil his due" and agree with what he said about the silhouettes. He nailed that one.

Would Bumstead look as big as him if they stood together on the stage tho?

Wolf is the most asthetic mass monster, he has a wonderful structure!

Reply
Jay B March 8, 2018 - 6:54 pm

My biggest complaint with Dennis Wolf is his back. His structure genetically is a problem. He is so long in the torso. Look at how high up his lower latts attach. Then compare that to someone like Phil Heath or Kai Greene. Also as u mentioned he's never had great arms. Add to that his small calves & u have a guy who although impressive, just doesn't have the genetics the be a top 5 placer at the elite level.

Looking at the comparison at the very end with the other 3 competitors, for me Denis is by far the best out of that 4. A little more fullness in my opinion and I think he would have placed higher.

He didn't embarrass himself. But his best is far behind him. His body is tired torn and nerve damaged.

Of course he’s massive next to the average joe but next to other athletes he looks average. Its all good the Dennis will come back bigger & madder then ever.

Reply
Josh Lynch March 18, 2018 - 2:54 am

Dude's looking really good for how long he was out.
If he can put on a little bit more size near what he used to be, with that conditioning, he could probably be a competitor, easy top 6.

Reply
Brian Tucker March 18, 2018 - 11:29 am

Wolf's legs, waist and condition were on point. He really doesn't need much more size. 10-15 pounds added to his back, triceps, forearms, and the caps of his shoulders. I hope he doesn't ruin his waist by going down the route of insulin, and HGH use.

all things considered, he looked great.

Even before his injury Dennis was getting smaller every year, so I'm doubting that he can get all his mass back. Realistically, I think his best bet is to drop down to Classic – and even there I don't see him in the top 5. Dennis in 2007 – and even earlier – was incredible, but that was 11 or more years ago. He doesn't need more time. What he needs is a time machine !!

Kind of late in the comments of this comeback, but he looked like he had a barely visible 8 pack midsection which is impressive.
