So true. I get tired of people bitching at me about my ass not being below parallel when doing heavy deadlifts. They're probably just bothered by the fact I can lift almost the same amount of weight at half the bodyweight.

2nd dude hitched it and then leaned back way too hard js. Last dude could have done more, he pulled that up way too easy. I deadlift 225 for 8 reps and im 16. he is a man so he should have more muscle naturally than me so for sure he could do more.

I'm back with some gains under my belt. I recently did 330 for 5 at 176lbs age 16 and can say that I have learned some shit that has helped me increase my deadlift tremendously. For one, your shoulders are out over the bar. This is a bad thing in your set up. You are now pulling at an awkward angle and your lower back is taking more of the load from the bottom than it should. You need to sit your hips back and use more leg drive. Think shoulders in line with the bar. Also you are yanking the bar way too much. You need to get tight and pull the slack out of the bar rather than just tugging it. Also, your head position is weird. You want a neutral neck which will help you keep a neutral spine. Last but not least, think shoulder blades retracted. If your shoulder blades are retracted, the chance of you rounding the lumbar spine is lessened tremendously. Hope this helps.
And guy at 1:04 is gonna tear a bicep if he's not careful. Think hooks with your arm positioning.

Scott!Highly inappropriate but I gotta ask. So I'm executing a dead lift this morning and around the 2nd set, towards the upward movement, I felt a "pull", ore maybe a "stretch" (hopefully in my right hamstring area. Do you have any experience or insight in to injury? I can walk fine, even road by bicyle back home from the office, BUT I'd be lying is I said I didn't feel a numbness, or a lil something back there. Is a true injury painful? what could this be? Foal roller be an option? Thanks in advance!
