What's your "treat food" go-to? I've been making so many new recipes, but want to do a vid on "cheats/treats" So need your help!

Only thing I would add is your own towel. They are so scratchy! Also, a phone stand to watch other things after baby is born. I watched the same cooking show a hundred times while nursing all night. Pack as much or as little as you want. You’ll learn for this one what you would do for the next! Good luck!

I brought a clip on mini fan. It’s actually the one we bought for the stroller! I was sooooo hot and sweaty in labour 😅 I loved having it!

Possibly too late with this (don’t know your filming/editing timeline), but I’ve always recommended buying minis of super bougie/fancy/favorite toiletries for your first few showers after giving birth. Like go to Sephora or Ulta and buy alllllll the toiletries of things you’d never buy full-size – it makes that first shower feel a little more special and nice. Because literally nothing will feel “nice” in that moment lol (had my second – and last – in March).

Husband needs a bag too! He’s going to be stressed and sleep deprived too. Bring his pillow!

Wow your maternity bag is just wow!!, you will be comfortable and have way to much stuff but that's okay your a first time mom. Go overboard that's what you are supoosed to do 🤣 Get pads!!! I repeat get good pads!! The hospital feminine products are the worst go buy some nice thin ones so your whooo ha is comfortable your going to be bleeding do much lol!! I had the worst "period" bleeding afterwards and I just remember being so uncomfortable in the pads the hospital had given me, because with my first son I totally forgot to grab them

I got to feel that excitement five times. My babes are all grown up now. So excited for you. Can’t wait to take this journey with you. 🍂🌻

I would agree with bringing a swaddle. I really struggled with the hospital blankets and with my second baby is was convenient and stress free to just use my own swaddle. I like all the things you thought to bring. I never had a good grasp on what was out there for the body and I’ve never established (any) routines. While I was skeptical about you being able to maintain your routines after baby I think it has enabled you to know what your body needs and what will make it feel better. For me everything was a shot in the dark, but because you know what your routines gift your body and mind, even if you can’t maintain the same exact routines going forward, you know what you need to do to reset yourself when things start to get overwhelming and fall sideways, and from what I observe you will learn to carve it out one way or another.

You could also make a little basket of goodies for the nurses. Just to say thank you.

I have had 3 babies and I always bring a lot of stuff and use most of it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I would bring velcro swaddles for the baby and baby Vaseline. I like to put baby Vaseline on their bottoms right away because the first meconiums poos are really sticky.

It's probably a "duh" and something you plan to add later but toothbrush/toothpaste, floss, stuff to wash your hair if you plan to. The hospital has all of that but in my years as a nurse and when i delivered my babies, I never saw anything I'd want to use for toiletries.

A cozy blanket for myself was on my list of things I wish I had. I had a similar list of things you have. That first shower was amazing!

The hospital is likely not going to allow you to bring meds and supplements in. You're really your not going to need all that stuff. Toothbrush, hairbrush, maybe dry shampoo, bodywash, pjs and some makeup. For baby; outfit home and carseat. A few snacks might be good for dad.

The best thing I did for my second birth was bring the poise adult women's pad underwear, diaper, it kept me way more comfy than those huge pads they give you and kept me from leaking.
