Join Adriene on Day 6 of The 30 Days of Yoga journey! Six Pack Abs! Yogi style. This is a shorter practice to tone the abdominals in a mindful way that feels fun and supportive! Also, almost everyone wants more core strength and tone abdominals. You asked for it!
Use this Day 6 practice to check in with the core. Mindful core training will support your entire practice and whole-body health. While tone abs are something we all fancy (me too) core strength training is so much more than washboard abs or a flat tummy. By building core strength you are supporting the back and all of the muscles that surround your dear spinal cord. By working those muscles we are taking some of our weight off the spine and engaging the entire body. We are more likely to do active, engaging things when the body is strong & engaged. Great for runners, dancers, movers and shakers! Great for grounding the spirit.

I noticed if I have a hard time with one day; I do the workout once more. I think it was day 3 I did twice so day 4 won't be too difficult.

I’ve done the 30 days challenge several times and day 6 is always the hardest. But I know that and I know I’ll get through it. Today I approached it with no dread and I only paused once while we were scissoring our legs and I’m not beating myself up- in fact, I feel like a champ💗. It’s nice to know it gets better.

Oh man. I watch the videos a day before I do them just so I don't have to watch the screen constantly during the workout. This is going to be… interesting tomorrow. There's no way I can have my legs straight overhead.

Usually, it's hard for me to connect to my abdominal muscles… But this workout made me feel my abdominal muscels working HARD! What a difference it makes to actually listen to your body and taking the time to connect to your muscles. Thank you, Adriene! 🙂

I woke up the day after I did this (day 7) and I noticed that I have abs now 😳!!
