DAY 28 // Lower Body MetCon HR12WEEK 3.0 – Heather Robertson

It’s leg day!! Today’s lower body MetCon workout includes compound exercises that target multiple muscles at the same time to make this a crazy effective workout without having to spend hours training! Dumbbells: I used 2x15lbs, 2x25lbs, 1x40lbs
Exercise mat or other soft surface. The Mat I use:

I haven't been doing Heather's workouts for a while she does a lot of workouts using your knees a lot. It disappoints because I cannot do have them. I'm just wondering when you get older is this going to affect your knees later on.

In my journey of fitness, this is the first time I have followed through with a program. I usually lose motivation or quit after 2-3 weeks. I am proud of not making excuses and I am much kinder to myself when I don’t complete a full workout. Some days I don’t want to do it, but I do it because when I get to check mark a workout on my calendar, i feel accomplished. Looking forward to completing this program in its entirety. Thank you Heather for innovating fitness!

While I did take a teeeensy pause somewhere in the squat jumps, I can tell my legs are much much stronger after nearly 6 weeks. So good to know our bodies can change for the better. Thx HR

Heather, first, thank you as always. You’re amazing and I LOVE your workouts. However, music is extremely important to me and the playlist, especially at the beginning, was AWFUL. It’s like the worst of Top 40 music replete with auto-tune and reggaeton beats. I normally love the music but not this.
