Everytime I hear other people saying overtraining is bad for u , this video reminds me that overtraining is nonsense. You need to push yourself to beat yourself 🙏
All the best athletes in every sport train ever single day…only take a very rare day off for what ever reason. CT is right…we trained every single day in basic training…the body adapted and grew stronger and so we could lift more, run more, and perform better.

Are people that advocate for overtraining using steroids so their able to recover quicker? I’m just starting to get serious about training and would like to know.. is this an assumed thing. According to Athena x natural bodybuilding has to watch over training.

I think you have to rest at least one day out of the week cuz if you don't you start burning muscle instead of building it
Overtrain now how about if you lift for say 3 hours tear every fiber down now if you go do the same workout the next day isn’t that considered overtraining and pointless cause the muscle is already broke down?

That's right there is no overtraining everybody body is different I'm 47 I do over train and I look good my body changes 4 weeks into training and I'm a monster

tom platz didnt really over train, he would rest over a week after trainning legs, you cant over train if you rest enough. Bear in mind if you over train you have to rest enough to recover, also diet and genetics also comes into play with over trainning.

I think they're confusing overtraining with overloading. Yea sure, if you put too much weight on your muscle(s), you're gonna snap your shit the fuck up. A guy that weighs 215 can pull off 200 chest presses at 150 160lbs everyday if he eats right and has a little kick i.e. preworkout or protein.
Overtraining for natural lifter will give them tendonitits
I love how a simple routine for me is "too much" according to my family sometimes. They just dont understand that you have to go hard and if not you will still feel and look average.

While on deployment, we had about 100 people trying to use 3 benches.
Nobody was interested in the dips station, so me and a friend started doing dips every day. We got big as fuck(for us)
Overtraining fkkked me up. It doesnt matter how many energy drinks I take, Im still tired. I did 21 sets 2 days ago and get emotionally numb, tired, and sore. My feet and right leg are fkkked up from running 2 laps 13.6 miles and walking 6.8 miles. I know I have the heart of a champion and can feel my ring comin LMAO but Im even getting Big Lokote nightmares where Im shooting all the Hi Power clowns and even worse, getting nightmares of this ugly coach that stalks me with a red face that looks like a old version of my perverted brother inside a court room.
Wrestling practice 5 days a week for 6 months with a tournament on saturday. With a coach yelling at you to push yourself to the next level. Then roll with a guy who did the same shit. You will work more in 6 minutes than most people have in 6 months. Most people never come close to overtraining.
The basic training example is perfect.
To the Tom platz point, he only trained legs roughly twice a month so I don’t think that would be considered overtraining
Inmates train hours and hours to survive in Jail , the weaker ones usually get beat or taken advantage of by the stronger ones, you don’t see them whine about “Over training” only those with a limp backbone like a hot noodle whine about overtraining.

but u can build tolerance to long, continues, daily even sometimes work legs morning, upper in evening same with abs
takes a habit of DEDICATION to build a tolerance on ur body to reach ur goals

if you are a fat lazy POS and your body is deconditioned than year you can over train by carrying your groceries in but if you are in top shape over training is a myth……
