This is America, you are allowed to be racist.
Being "canceled" actually means nothing at all. So I'm cool if that happens. But I'm pretty sure nothing happens if you're canceled. People just don't like you, which already happened. Nothing will change from how it is right now. He did a bad thing, now people dislike him.
Go watch the entire Floyd video and tell me what you see, then think about the brick being delivered before the riots.

Taking him down as CEO does nothing. Every dollar goes to his wallet. Since Crossfit did nothing new you can take the exercises, make a brand, make trainings to have a higher coach stardard than CF LV1, make it cheaper, sell it to reebok and BOOOM, you are rich.
He fucked himself royally. I understand he may have felt some financial pressure due to quarantine. This by no means gives someone the right to lash out in this manner. Free speech doesn't equal speech without consequence. I see the brand disappearing.

I like the idea of the crossfit. some of the workouts, I wouldn't do them but each their own. I do like to listen to the Crossfit documentaries while working out. I've been HIIT training for years now after doing normal Bodybuildingstrength training for years. I changed my training up mainly because I wanted better cardio and I didnt care about the aesthetics as much. That was a personal choice for me. I'm older. I'm 41. I like HIIT training. Its fun to view my progress. Ive been using a Whoop band for years. I'm thinking of changing to a watch more. I do love my whoop band but I'd like the functionality of something like an apple watch or some other watch that keeps up with good statistics I can view my progress.

I absolutely love the way you framed this. I was a CFL1 Trainer and have been a part of the Crossfit community for a long time. None of what he said was racist. It was just his opinions and they were insensitive but so was the lockdown. The lockdown destroyed people’s lives and these people at that health organization have no business “solving racial health issues” anytime soon. I guarantee there is some higher up agendas in rogue and other fitness companies to take over Crossfit for good and they are paying athletes and gyms to disaffiliate and feeding mistrust and unreason to get Greg out and try and take over the company. Also it’s millennials needing to be offended by truth or people with no convictions or opinions of their own being taken advantage of. If you trend minded then you’ll be convinced of anything by the media.

The Hill had a segment about the hypocrisy surrounding the lockdown protests vs the GF protests (Health officials deem which protests are ok and which aren’t) which put the argument CrossFit dude was trying to make in a much more elegant manner.
That said, CrossFit dude clearly has a chip on his shoulder regarding politics and racial identity. He should’ve had a tweet editor. At the very least he should know better than to fuck with his cash flow; all money is green. Thats the only color that matters in the business world.
