I , like Omar, am team no calves. Twice a week ive been doing calves on the leg press after my squats. Hypertrophy due? Anyone suggest a more efficent method? (3×8 btw)
Started lifting a few years ago, injured myself, story cut short I was out for 6 months ish. Been lifting again for 4 months, but I've put on a lot of weight in the time I was off. Should I cut or continue eating as normal? Wanted to cut end of January but I still feel im making newb gains.

I'm 20 years old , nearly 21 160 lbs somewhere between 16 and 18% BF, been going to the gym for about a year now and I have this lingering fat around my stomach that I can't seem to get rid of and i'm just wondering because i'm so light should I just continue to eat what I'm eating but just add more cardio / ab related exercises or should I go on a legit cut ?

You said when you're a beginner "you can do almost ANYTHING to gain muscle, do a brosplit and EVEN do 3 sets of 10 reps."
It feels like you are saying that 3 sets of 10 reps is not very good, like there's some better way to train in order to gain opitmal muscle
I'm wondering what type of program/split/rep-range you are talking about that is better?
I'm on permacut.
I've lifted like 6 months a year ago and then quit. I recently started lifting again and just got back from my chest and leg day (because I want to improve in chest a bit more than other parts and my gym buddy wants to improve in legs so we do this twice a week) I was 61,2 kg when I started about 2 weeks ago and now I'm at 62,8 kg and my goal for now is 70 kg. I'm also bulking for the first time, plan is to bulk from now to June then cut during the summer.

Do you even need to go into caloric surplus to bulk if you are going high carb?
the fuck is wrong with 3 sets of 10 what if it's like 6 or 4 cz I got bigger over the summer and I was cutting in the same time and I was doing 4 to 6 sets of 10 except crunches and some other stuff

So basically, maintain a surplus to gain muscle. If you stack on too much fat diet down if it bothers you.

I love bulking man but when my gut starts to pop out a lil it’s not worth out I feel lethargic and strong compared to cutting I feel more energy and a lil less strength
