Stage lighting should definitely be standardized if it isn’t already – Maybe a mix of old school top down with some softer fill lights would make the competitors look carved up while still showing the volume of the muscle. 💪🏼✨

Like you stated before. Lighting in the 90s way better then now. They should be taking notes from back then but I also think that lights now are better and brighter compared to the yellow lights back then. Look at the color of a light bulb back then and one now the color is different so that could play a role also
Thor's record is going down. He should of made it higher and harder to beat je clearly had more in him to be able to lift. He is going to regret it.
Nick knows bodybuilding WAY better than I do, but I thought him saying Brandon's legs look "pretty good" was an understatement. When I saw this image, I was like, "Whoa! His legs are huge!" Of course it's hard to tell when he isn't next to another bodybuilder. Huge fan of both Nick and Brandon! Keep up the great reporting!

DEF has grown the legs. The hams are out there. This guy is amazing as both a person and our champ. He is well spoken, humble and honest with himself and what he needs to work on. Many pro bodybuilders dont want to critique themselves publicly and some even discount the feedback they get. Brandon embraces the feedback and knows his strengths and weaknesses. He will have a battle ahead with Phil coming back but he has been a great Mr O. He is not at that point of being dominant like Ronnie, Phil or the like of Lee Haney but he does have a lot of runway so lets see what the guy can bring to the stage this year.
They should have a standard for lighting, like when they do photoshoots or movies they measure the light. Each show must have the same lighting conditions. It shouldn't be to hard to set up the lights, just like setting up the sound
