Omar, do you have any shoe recommendations for box jumps? Are flat shoes (vans, chuck taylors, etc) ok?

It would be a shame if you did not bulk up when these other people get ripped so easily with Max Muscle Method (go google it).

Just go And Google Max Muscle Method to discover the thousands of regular people who bulked up who never thought they could.

So Omar do box jumps just make your lower body more explosive or do they make your whole body more explosive? if not then what are some excercises which will make your upper body more explosive so that it can help with a main lift such as the bench press?

To expand on that, novice athletes or in season athletes should set up lower boxes to walk down after performing the jump. Omar is advanced and doing a higher, more maximal for his vertical, jump.

YO OMAR! make a jump training video! Broad jumps, squat jumps, etc. Brady told me if I squat jump my ankle bones would implode upon landing but I don't know if he is trustworthy..

Or another great way to generate both speed and power is to alternate between , squats (135 lbs) , box jumps, then sumo squats in a full circuit. I ideally push to almost failure for each set. Then literally watch the muscles grow 😉 But hey mix and match , find what works best for you! Excellent video by the way, will help polish my technique for the box jumps immensely. Thank you!

Is it ok if I do them as a HIIT after the workout (10-15 min total) ex : 30 seconds on, 1 minute off ? Also I like to do kettle bell swings in this fashion.

My personal best is 49" @240 lbs. I just did it. I managed to do 22 pull ups a few weeks back and yeah, it was pretty cool and all, but jumping on high obstacles and long distances like a mad man is so much cooler.
