Thank you! I've been doing just this for the last few weeks, and wondered if it was worth anything. Also, at the bottom of my last rep, I just hang for a while and do hip stretches. There's hope!

how to do your first pull up:
1. when you're gripping the bar, bring you're hands closer to each other so that it can be easier to pull up.
2. pull up.
3.follow this vid

I do the same thing with handstands. If I've got some time and space I'll just go for one or two max holds. Seen great results!!

i don't understand one thing:
the 1st day i do the max rep test (es: 10rep). after that i do 9 set of 4 pullup
the next days of the week i do 10 set of 4 pullups
when i have to repeat the max rep test? every 1st day of the week?

It seems interesting because years ago when I could do only about 8 to 10 pullups I was doing this sometimes for fun.
Like going to the bathroom and stopping for 2-3 pullups. Going back, doing the same. Going into another room – 2 pullups again. Then later in the day I had my workout.
My max increased fast. In a few months I could do more than 20. And I always thought that was because JUST the workouts. Made me think maybe the pullups during the day helped me a lot too. Also, I stopped doing those for now and my max is just around 25 (gained some weight so it didn't increase much)

What is the cycle for max reps test? Is good to test max reps weekly, once in 2 weeks, monthly or quarterly? How often do you see your progress by testing max reps?

Basically, do 8 sets of half your max reps, and keep the sets atleast 30 minutes apart….

Or you can do 2 sets through out the day, as many as you can do each set. If you feel like your strength is going down due to too much workload, take a day off and then immediately get back and do a set of amrap, is strength still seems down, take another day off and so on. You are supposed to be either matching previous Set's performance or doing better, if it feels more difficult than the last set, take a day off.

I did the latter, did it for a year, I got to 50+ pull ups in a row, perfect pull ups.
