Hey guys i have a question. I am a late novice and other Routines like strong lifts, ICF, starting strength doesnt suit me because they lack on volume, take too long, hit fast the stalling wall etc …What do you think about this workout Routines? Its full body 3 times a week:
Day 1 : Strength Legs/Back , hypertrophy Push
Squats 4×4-5
Incline benchpress 5×8
Power Rows 4×5
Closegrip Benchpress 2×10
Bicepscurls 2×10
Day 2 : Strength Push , hypertrophy legs/Back
Benchpress 4×4
Legpress/squats 4×8
Pull ups 3×5 ramped sets
Military Press 4×6
RDL 2×12
Day 3 : Deadlift , Light Accessories
Deadlift 1×5 2×7
Benchpress 3×10
Pendlay Row/lat pulldown 3×10
Shrugs 2×10
Goal is too become stronger and more muscular
If you wanna go 5 days and train the body twice a week… You can do Upper, Lower, PPL

Does this mean 40 sets total for legs or 40 for quads, 40 for hams, 40 for calves?

Well wouldn't more frequency also build more muscle because you're going through protein synthesis more throughout the week when training a muscle twice or more a week vs training a muscle once a week?
40 sets per week? Dr Mike Israetel says 15-20 usually per week usually for the big muscles. I’m confused
I cycle between high intensity/ low volume, and low intensity/high volume ( hit my high numbers). Twice a week it's been working for me for 4 years with significant growth. But at the same time I am a the size of a leprechaun, and I naturally have the strength of an evil leprechaun.

Informative as always! Enjoyed the advice about the benefits of higher frequency. I'll have to implement that into my training program!
Why even train bodyPARTS? Why not just train the BODY? It works as one unit! I always start my workouts with squatting. Trains most of my muscles. I do all major barbell movements first. And then I isolate my most underdeveloped minor groups after that. I have grown quite a bit from that.
Anyone running the (Kizen) Sheiko program?

My weekly 3-day routine based around three full body splits.
I) Pecs, traps, glutes, obliques
ii) Delts, lats, hams, erector spinae
iii) Quads, tri's, bi's, rectus abdominis
Three exercise movements per target muscle group, 3-5 sets per exercise.

Im 17 and have been weight training for nearly 1 year and a half, I've been following Push, Pull, Legs, Break for the Past few months but before that I was doing the typical bro split of chest then back then arms and so on, when i just started i was doing full body workouts. I've always trained either 4 or 5 times a week. I haven't put on any weight although i visibly seem to have around my back and waistand my bench and other big movements have gone up to a respectable point however i seem to have next to no growth in my chest, (my back is fine), anyone have any advice? I'm 5'10 and around 150 pounds.I've also been eating a lot but maybe i could be eating more I just don't think that's the biggest or only problem, any advice is appreciated.
