what he's explaining I discovered during my last years of college. I was 6'0 about 175 and was always doing sets of 5 going heavier and doing a 1 rep max in my compound lifts every 2 weeks or so. I was getting strong as hell but not bigger. Ppl would be in the gym shocked at the weight I was putting up while relatively slim. I then realized that i needed to do 4-6 sets of 10×12 reps with much lighter weight accompanied by nutrition and I blew up in a matter of 6-8 months. I came back my senior year and every single person I interacted with would mention how brollic I got. I was lifting heavier end of high school and early college than I do now at age 30.
