When doing the barbell curls, should you use a light bar or a standard 45 pound one?

why the incline before the cable, this would impact the performance on the cable and lead to cheating and too much pain in the forearm?

I can tell you without watching the video. They both have a place in bodybuilding but its up to you to determine what works best for you. What works for joey might not work for you. Be your own coach and see what feels right.
can I do this sitting with an armrest too (the curling)?
Start with the bahbell, end with the cable! Another pro to the cable is all the different bars/handles you can incorporate, such as the rope for more hammer-style cable curls. Variation is key to keeping things fresh and fun! The same old exercises and routines get mundane.
Definitely trying cables. I like the idea of constant tension. Gotta finally fill up these long arms. The growth has been minimal compared to all other body parts.

I wonder why is it easier to lift more weight with cable curls. I mean I usually lift like 30 kilos 6 repetitions of 15. And can do almost 60 kilos in cable curls same set.
But what about bicep curls with or without ankle weights?

It does not matter if it does not allow heavy weights. What it matters is time under tention. Thius, cables are better to workout almost of the body parts

I hear things like 4 sets of 12 reps. This means doing 4 sets of a weight that you can get all four sets to 12 reps correct?? So, on the first set you stop at 12 no matter what. Is this not training to failure then, except maybe the 12th rep of the 4th set. I can’t find a video on YouTube that explains this rep/set and weight progression. Thanks for your time and videos.

Mix heavy cheat curls with light strict curls, get the benefit of both.

I find that barbell curls cause a slight pain on my elbows regardless of the type of grip I use of if I’m using a straight or EZ bar so I’m sticking with cable curls.

With the barbell curls u can’t ever have an excuse for wack form. If ur going heavy and u need to use Wack form you simply can’t do it yet. Wackform minimises ur gains.
