Granted, I don't know the specifics, but Joe Weider's selling his empire to AMI was possibly the biggest mistake he ever made (and likely sent brother Ben spinning in his grave). Considering AMI's reputation, it certainly didn't do bodybuilding or the Olympia any good. Arnold with his shows – the Classic and the Sports Festival – has pretty much left the Olympia behind with regard to quality and just plain class.
It's more complicated than you think…. It's like what you post here it's 10% of the 10% that what it's all about.
