I do not suggest squatting everyday for lifters. If you do decide to try it out, you must read "Squat Everyday" to learn about auto-regulation. You don't ever want to strain or struggle with the weight. I lasted 5 months before I herniated a disk. I've healed now, but looking back it was not worth it. My legs did grow some (already had big quads). The only benefit I got was insane improvement in squat form/depth, but I could have accomplished this by concentrating on bodyweight squats everyday. As for the mental aspect of pushing yourself to squat everyday, there are safer methods of pushing yourself mentally.
