These practices are designed to help you learn and experience the way in which everything is connected. While this practice targets the shoulders, chest, neck and upper back body – continue to see the body as one moving part.

Research has proven that daily movement can be powerful medicine for anxiety and depression. We have the science to back up the myriad of benefits of mindful breath work, especially when practiced with consistency.

And, I have said it before but I will share again that strength training with less pain and more joy has provided me with a relationship with my body that I never ever thought possible.

Remember, this is a come as you are situation.

Get out of your head and into your body, let’s move!

That was fun! Nice to find a new perspective everytime I hop on the mat with you. 🙃✨️
Hope you are all doing well at this point in our journey? 🙏

My Dachshund Henri was sitting underneath me throughout the lunges and downward dog – there were many distracting pupper kisses 😆❤️

I have been practising yoga since the last 3 years, and still was so wobbly during the high lunges. Just a reminder to myself that there are good days and bad days, but i got this!

Day 17 also marks 8 months of my yoga journey with Adriene. I am grateful for everything that you do and the decision to just give it a go. Thank you so very much

Was feeling anxious all day, and my anxiety manifests itself physically, so I was excited to get on the mat today. Within the first few minutes of practice, towards the end of the deep breathing, I could physically feel the tightness in my chest start to ease up. Such a miracle! I always knew breath-work was a powerful tool, but it was amazing how fast it actually works. Really enjoying this journey so far, thank you Adriene!

Good practice, my shoulders really appreciate the attention. Finally found time to do this on day 19, I find it so much harder to keep up now compared to the first two weeks…it is not a question of motivation but just daily life kicking fully back in with lots of work appointments and three kids…

First of all, thanks Adriene for these wonderful practices. I'm 72, I've gained a lot of weight and lost a lot of strength. Downward dog is NOT my favourite pose but I do them. The first day, I could only hold the pose for about 1 second; now after two weeks (or more) I find I can hold the pose for about 10 seconds, so I can feel my strength (and flexibility ) increasing each day. I guess it's good to step out of your comfort zone occasionally. Now, how to keep up the daily practice after January ends!

Lovely practice, thank you. Namaste! The high lunge – eagle arms flow was quite the balance challenge! And it's so nice to be on this 30 day journey with the community once more. Onwards!

Adriene, you did so well to describe the asanas and movements AND to remember which arm went on top in "eagle arms!"

I feel so much looser in my neck, upper back and shoulders, thank you xx

this practice tested my balance like no other…. somehow the elbow clasp affected my overall balance and i kept breaking out of my form several times, specifically during the high/low lunge 😭 i'll come back to this video in the future to improve what i'm lacking!! 😤💖

wowweee! that was short and sweet 🙂 i have to admit. I thought I was beginning ti wax this stability thing, but this practise shook me upside the head. I wa shaking and dancing more than ever before… but not once did I feel out of line. I knew that I had this. That is more confidence than what I had than when I started on Jan 01st. Now that's fantisma! Namaste with the back issues in the bag.

As I was mirroring Adriene with my practice, my dog was mirroring Benji. She got up and walked out at the exact same time and tempo as Benji in the beginning of the practice. Then at the end, got up at the same time as him, and walked to the other side of the room. 😮 it was pretty surreal😅

I was on track until day 16, even kept rolling during my business trip to a time zone with a 5h difference to mine. But then I got sick and missed 3 days in a row 😢 I'm back now and not giving up! Much love from Austria ❤️
