Nick – look up the 1992 WBF Championship which was indeed drug tested…..the guys looked absolutely terrible with one or two exceptions. Apparently the drug testing was told to them fairly late on and they didn't have the time to adapt… I'm 42 and I actually remember that show.

Nick, I was the first contest promoter to hire Eddie as a guest poser at the Mr. & Ms. St. Petersburg, Florida contest. He was still only a teenager and already on his way to being absolutely massive. Nice guy and the crowd loved him. Thanks for you great videos. They bring back a lot of memories for us old timers and show the younger generation what the past champions looked like.

I saw him at the 1999 Olympia. He had a table with photos and everyone was pretty much walking by him. I felt kind of bad, but I didn't have time to stop. My brother asked who that was (because I know the old school guys) and I said "wow, that's Eddie Robinson". He still looked in great shape.
