Center – Day 2 – Listen – Yoga With Adriene

by YouTube Team

In this practice we embrace a key element to the centering practice. How to listen is such an important part of this journey both on and off the mat. When you wake up each day, when you arrive on the mat, what are you lending your ear to?

When we tune in to what brings us life on the yoga mat, we start to notice this spill into other areas of our life.

It becomes not just about what is capturing our attention, and what (or who) is the loudest. But rather it becomes about what serves you and what feels right for your mind and body.

I loved the quiet breathing sequence inside the child's pose. Beautiful respite from the insanity of life waiting for me beyond the practice. Xo

Good morning and so happy to be practicing with everyone ….day two and choosing to take the "listening" deeper/ into the day ahead. Grateful for a softer start today and beginning to find my center in the poses. Now will feel for it when I am challenged…and re…member.

Day 2 done with my beginner modifications!! Yay!! I love how relaxed/calm I feel when completed! Is it due to the breathing, movements or both?

That upper body rotation felt so good, balancing, grounding and indeed centering!
I'm very curious though have these practices recorded within past months or within past days.
but no need to reveal, already sincerely thankful for these series 😊🙏

I first started doing Yoga with Adriene in January 2017. It is because of her that I fell in love with the practice, and I’ve done yoga almost every single day for the past seven years. I’ve moved on to practice with several other talented instructors here on YouTube, and I haven’t done a challenge with Adriene and several years. It almost feels like a return home to participate in center. I am so grateful for Adriene in the yoga revolution that she has brought to a lot of our lives. Namaste ❤️

I've followed you for yoga for years, but this is the first time I've done the 30 day challenge in real time! This is much more exciting than I anticipated. Thank you!

Thank you Adriene. Breath is life. After finding out I lost my brother January 2nd of last year I fumbled and lost yoga about mid year. I appreciate your yearly journey and bringing me back to center. Namaste❤😭

Does anyone else have any healthy habits or small changes you're making while you're doing this challenge? I'm sad and lonely (all) the time, and I'm ready to feel better. need a few ideas, though. 🙁
