The Rock tore his abdominal wall during his match at John Cena Wrestlemania 29 and had to have surgery; that's why his abs look like that.

No abs, weak chest genetics. Not very aesthetically pleasing. No he could not have been a body builder at all. You need abs and a crazy chest. He has neither. His father Rocky Johnson in my opinion had a better body for body building then the rock.

The reason he doesn't have a 6 pack is because he tore his abdominal wall and 2 tendons from his pelvis during wrestling soo his pas injuries prevent a 6 pack

The reason the Rock’s abs look the way they do is because he tore them back when he did wrestling. He had surgery but it never healed properly and he has scar tissue covering the majority of his abs as a result.

As someone with nearly the same set of abs as the rock, tho smaller lol, it is genetics. No matter how lean I got my abs always looked fucked lol. Oblique and intercostals made up for it tho in my case

I trained with boxers for quite a few years and can tell you that boxers' training routine always include a really intense abs session at the end. And let me share something, no matter how hard you diet or train your abs, if you are not born with them, you can't develop them. Period
