how about one on Hegstrand and laurinitus? the road warriors and how they ushered in that power tag team era and all the bodybuilder spin off teams that were brought in to compete?

I had watched this movie long time ago, have to say it is ridiculous movie, fight with the so called bear and you can not hear an Arnold voice here because he didn't speak English very well still like later. But it was a good effort

i have that movie on VHS. years later i found it on DVD and it has both the theatrical version with Arnold's own actual voice and a version with another person's voice dubbed over Arnold's because his english wasn't that good. hilarious !

Are you sure Arnold was wrestling in the movie? I remember he was a weightlifter that lose his power at one moment. Any fights was accidental like fighting a bear etc. I have not watched this movie for about 20 years, so i can be wrong. I had this movie on an old VHS and it was the first I watched with Arnold 😉

I saw this movie and it's hilarious, especially the voice dub over Arnold which is so hilariously obvious.

This movie was so bad that when people ask Arnold what his first movie was, he usually responds by telling them "Stay Hungry". It was pretty bad.

I can't believe you didn't discuss how they dubbed over his voice for the movie. It is hilarious for us that know Arnold's voice and iconic it is today, but back then, they didn't think people would understand him, or felt like it wasn't proper for Hercules to speak with an Austrian accent. I don't know, but that's why the poster of the film you show says "original soundtrack" because they finally took out the dub. I've only ever seen it with the dubbed in voice late at night and so I need to go watch it with Arnold's voice. It is very distracting with a voice over.

Lol man, I swear you should be getting paid to do bodybuilding history. It's what keeps the interest going for the sport. You should have your own monthly editorial for somebody's bodybuilding mag. Again, keep up the great work!

This movie also had the great, if eccentric, comedian Arnold Stang in it. He was known on TV for doing the hilarious Chunky Chocolate Bar commercials in the 50's and 60's.

Oh yes – Hercules in New York – this is my "go-to" when people say such-and-so is the worst movie of all time. No – Hercules in New York is the worst movie of all time. I mean the script is terrible, the acting is awful, the quality of the filming is crud, and the sound track (my god, the soundtrack) is this ridiculous zorba the greek stuff that doesn't even match the content. And they dubbed him. It's sooooooo bad it's almost funny but then it's sheer badness keeps it from even being that. But it is probably worth a glance if only just to say you saw it and know where the goal-posts are set.

I grew up watching Arnold movies and I loved em, but his best performance was The Terminator by far. Like in Pumping Iron, he plays a better antagonist.
