I dont think prize money really matters that much , it is more about the fame , the name , the opportunity it provides .

I think Classic Physique is what bodybuilding was meant to be. The Muscle Monster that took over bodybuilding ran its course and today just isn't marketable. I do believe that the Monster's need a stage. But if bodybuilding wants to be marketable today, it needs to promote more men's classic physique and women's physique competitions.
Classic bodybuilding is the future.
IMO they should pay olympia winners 1 million and classic winners 1 million and physique winners 1 million

Ok that's great to have this division but there is a major issue here
The classic compatitors (Scott, Arnold, franco, Nubret .etc) just looked 1000 times more natural than those guys who claims to have classic physique, yes they've got the frame, but overall they aren't looking natural as they are supposed to be.
The only thing that should determine prize money is how much revenue is generated by the competition. It’s called capitalism and it drives all sporting competition. If Classic Physique catches on big then prize money will go up accordingly. If the organization is skimming from the competitors that’s another story.
I hear the sponsors pay them a lot tbh they make more off sponsors and doing modeling shit and supplements stuff then competing. Shiii if it was up to me I would go to Olympia one time to win and call it quits and just get payed by sponsor and go around and try to get as much fame that year lol ((but your right it’s upsetting working hard asf eating and low proverty level to only make 20k that’s a slap in the face and it hurts to me to see dudes only make crap these work hard asf and get nothing smh))

The pay scale of the Classic Physique Bodybuilder should demand for more Money prize.. Atleast half of what the steroid Monster's are gaining…

I think this how classic physique should pay out:
First: $250,000
Second $175,000
Third: $125,000
Fourth: $75,000
Fifth: $50,000

The pay gap is justified. Have you looked at the analytics to know how much many is generated from the O spot versus classic physique. Take your emotions out of it and look at business and you will understand. Do you think Conor Mcgregor deserves 10 Mil a fight and another fighter who is a champion that only makes 500K? Its about ticket sales and other sales. Hype is hype and a cute theory but $$$$$$$ Do the numbers and then remake your video. ; ) There are no emotions in business. Do I think its fair? No because I understand the work involved but in business there is a lot of things that are not fair.
Classic physique is definitely better. It’s the future and an homage to the past. Closest thing to the Arnold era that you can see
You are right it is a shame. Prizemoney should be half of the open division, to give that guys credit and classic physique will give male bodybuilding an attractive face again which it lost in the 90's with the begin of the mass monster era. Classic physique and men's physique are rescuing the Olympia and they give that divisions an straight insult. Hope that other shows become more popular so that they make pressure on the Weider-Empire.

I’m a hardcore cbum fanboy but I think people don’t really give breon enough credit. His physique is just as classic as any other guy up on that stage, and he is fully deserving of both his Olympia wins, I think Chris looks better, but objectively breon is the the total package. He exudes classic just as much as Chris. Classic is more than the 70’s y’know. Breon is very reminiscent of lee Haney (to me) and I’m pretty sure lee was dang classic too.
Even with cbum being classic like Zane, Arnold, etc etc, breon is classic in his own sense as well.
