Ronnie was the hardest working mr Olympia but I believe he comes second to Arnold or on par. If Arnold competed today or through Ronnie’s time he would of destroyed them all!

A police officer who had to invest illegal substances in order to compete at the pro level I never could figure out that part of it. Yes you must take hear to compete at that level but all that while being a cop? Btw I'm two years older than him and have been training at least a year longer while being all natural.

Mad respect but overdone and they encouraged him to by giving him the sandow. Sad. He should be healthy not crippled.

Ronnie thought he was superman and did not consciously at least give his body to bodybuilding. Once he won Mr Olympia his superior in the police said he could stay at home to train.

Why would anyone do what Coleman did? Nobody gives a shit about bodybuilding or bodybuilders. You ask anyone on the street who Coleman is and 999 out of a thousand or less will say they have no idea. Legacy ? For what ? We remember Roberto Duran and Sugars Ray Leonard or Robinson in a faded Boxing but at least Boxing was a legit sport with a legit history with a legit cooperstown of its own. BB has zilch. South Africa. The Olympia which was in a closeted, cult activity not even deemed a sport. BB will never be a sport. Now with synthol, Growth Hormone and implants, and all sorts of designer steroids and oils, it's turned into a freak show at the upper levels. Participants do all and everything, routinely die at 40 or less or thereabouts often penniless and unknown in a welfare casket. That's it.

I like Ronnie Coleman the person but his is a bloated gut legacy. His legs were also ill-shaped.
As soon as the GH/insulin bodybuilders came in, competitive bodybuilding basically died for me.

I disagree somewhat on training the hardest because Ronnie only pushed for the highest weight disregarding proper form. Sometimes the hardest training is picking a lower weight and doing the excercise with better form
