Great video. Adding the sumo dead lift into my posterior chain workout today. This helps.

when I go really heavy my quads get really tired. So my failure is reached when my quads are tired not my core or hamstring.

what am I doing wrong?

This hurts my wrists. I naturally have really narrow and small wrists.

Guys I'm 16. Been deadlifting for 4 months. I'm 6'6 and in the process of losing weight. Being a big guy I LOVE deadlifts. With really poor deadlift form I can do 160kg. My form is bad though. With good form my max is 90 kg.

To get to the point my problem is that I can't sit back. I literally don't know how to. Every time I try to sit back I lose balance. My back is straight and everything but I can sit back! HELP PLEASE!!!

Basically, what he forgot to mention was just really pay attention to what your body is telling you. If conventional DL isn't really working then try Sumo. I had issues with conventional always putting a lot of strain on my lower back due to my longer legs and shorter torso but kept pushing through it. Decided to try Sumo and my back spoke to me loud and clear and now it's all legs and butt. Proper form in everything I do but not all stances will work for everyone so I encourage that you try everything to see what works best for you.

"My feet are slightly wider than shoulder width…" It looks like they are at least double shoulder width. Great video!
