This “guy” is lucky his spotter can upright row 270 or he’d be dead

I have lifted at tons of 24hr fitness gyms and their weights never look that good! Even when it is a new gym. It is amazing that he can find so many clean new looking weights every time he lifts.

I thought Brad Castleberry is this huge IG or ytb figure with millions of subs. That guy has dead IG account and ded ytb channel. Nobody watches him, nobody cares about him YET here we are. Making hundred videos about him. Why are you bothered by a literal bug?

Fkn I don't get it… this dudes a genetic freak has perfect proportions for lifting heavy af and is running gear probably a lot of gear too.. there are powerlifters who look tiny compared to him and lift just as heavy if not more. So why don't people think he's capable of lifting these heavy af ridiculous weights.. You don't see people saying Larry Wheels using fake weights? Why because he competes? So it gives a somewhat more convincing arguement?

There could be real 675 on the bar. But the question is how much the spotter helps him. If its divided for the 2 its 337,5. And thats a easy weight to bench for him

While I think fake weights are wrong, I find it odd that almost everybody criticizing him is half his size.

Brad Castleberry join or compete the world strongest man competition then we're all gonna shut the fuck up..

I don't understand why fake it, when you lift 405. It's such a huge weight for even a seasoned bodybuilder. Why descredit yourself with 675 fake?

His spotter is lifting harder than him XD

Reply
Philipp Huter March 31, 2020 - 2:31 pm

If he had done 12+ reps easily, it would have been way more believable, but the last rep looked pretty hard. And he does add the weight of a big bodybuilder.

Lifting smaller plates to make it look like you're lifting a lot more is sad, saying you bench 600 pounds when it's more like it's 400 just makes no sense. He is definitely a strong guy but he's not a world record holding power lifter. Hell if he said he could bench a Max 450 that would be impressive and he wouldn't make himself look like an idiot.

I’m not a pro or anything but i don’t get a guy around 250-280lbs able proved bench 4 plates thinks it’s special? He seems pretty weak for his size?
