I get the point you’re trying to make but 155 to 190 in a couple of weeks is still great

His lifting partner is definitely very very humble for his age and size.

Most people can't even deadlift 440.

Combining that huge amoutn of muscle with powerlifting is a great way to make huge PR gains. He's got the muscle to lift stuff, it's all about CNS training and form after that. The more he trains like a powerlifter/strongman, the faster he'll make these huge PR leaps since he already has the mass to back it up.

I am really excited about what he is capable of but have this feeling we’ll never get to see his full potential. I watched him bench pressing and his technique is very dangerous. If he stays healthy somehow, I don’t think a 775 raw bench is out of the question.

This guy's raw strength is really impressive. There is no technique to speak of, just brute strength. Watch him dead lift, he just walks up to the bar and boom, up it goes, no getting phscyed up, no pause, just grab and pull!

Reply
Morgan Andred March 23, 2019 - 9:56 am

Very good and incredible power. But he does a push press. This cannot be called a strict press.
Look at his leg movement.

Push press…No strict press. I am sure he cannot press over 400 strict. Come on people.
He is a freak and strong af but those are not strict presses.

Obviously drug use alone wouldn’t produce the type of strengh wheels has. Although It’s impossible to assume that naturally he would still stand out in terms of strength. None of us can know for a fact unless, there are recorded lifts larry has done before he began using drugs. So only larry wheels truly knows and i don’t know if he ever was completely natural.
It could be a shock but it would make no sense not to think that he is not genetically blessed for strengh. Therefore he belongs in the category of some of the greatest drug enhanced strongmen.. which must have began when lifters started using peds.
