weight gainer isnt more expenaive than home made gainers dumbass serious mass and such are lik 45$ now you would spend more than 100$ to home make it not to mention what actually deserves to pay for which is my time

I have to disagree about your list…I made significant gains on one particular test booster…I was stuck at 134 pounds…STUCK……less than 3 months later..I was 156…maybe they were loading with some p hormone……but I doubt it….my test levels went UP 200 points…from 340 to 540……ant when I stopped this booster..a months and a half later..I had labs done again..test went down 374. Coincidence? maybe…..

I'm a big fan of mass gainer, but I don't pretend it's anything magic. The one I use is made of beef protein, sweet potato and coconut cream, all things I would eat anyway, but I struggle to get enough calories in the day. It's an expensive convenience, nothing more.

Omar, what about Tribulus terrestris? It's a plant that supposedly boosts testosterone levels, I used to make tea from it few years ago and now I am taking it in pill form (pure tribulus extract, nothing more). I am honestly very happy from using it, I don't know about my testosterone level, but I feel A LOT more energetic and full of power. Altought I gotta say when I was making tea out of the dried plant seemed a lot more effective.

The only supplement that I have personally see having overwhelmingly positive clinical trials is creatine. Everything else either works by fixing a deficiency in your diet, or it does not work at all. Test boosters are hilarious. Fun fact anything that raises testosterone by a notable degree, without just fixing a deficiency is almost immediately made illegal.

All you need is whey protein, caffeine, dextrose and glucosamine.

As someone who's used gainers to great effect I have to disagree with you.
Now I usually eat 4-5 meals a day and my breakfast alone has about 2500kcal. Still I was stuck with my weight despite literally mashing myself with food and wasn't able to gain any mass. The mass gainers helped me with actually doing that, 500kcal per shake, 4 shakes a day and trust me you'll gain. I gained 25lbs in under 2 months once I started using them. It all depends on what gainers you buy. The one I use is mostly whole grain wheat, milk protein and flavoring. Basically no cheap carbs, no extra fancy crap, just pure carbohydrates and a bit of protein. You can get a 10lbs pack of that shit for 25bucks which I'd hardly call "expensive". Tastes great, lasts you at least a 2 months and it actually helped.

Supplements can give you just a few percent improvement and are aimed at people who lack certain nutrients so if u eat abundance of proteins then taking additional will be removed with your waste

I don't see the point in BCAA, individual amino acids, NOS, pre-workout, etc. These are expensive and supplements are only there to assist a healthy diet, not replace food. So I take multivitamins and minerals because I don't like most vegetables, fish oils for my heart health and to prevent arthritis, and protein shakes to increase protein intake. I don't even think I'm going to bother with creatine because it's complicated to use. It's in the name: they SUPPLEMENT not replace

Mass Gainers help in some gains but it will grow some Bubble GUT around your intestine/Belly area. So don't abuse Mass Gainers otherwise your body will look like Pregnant modern Day heavyweight lifters these days lol xx
Mass gainers have the high amount of CARBS and mostly made up of 20 to 30% of SUGAR and Maltodextrin and Dextrose in high amounts which just stuck to you Tummy (Bubble GUT) if you continue to take 3 scoops per day.
My suggestion, if you take Mass Gainer then don't go beyond Half or 1 SCOOP just after workouts or in the morning. That's it. Keep using your Whey Protein (Isolate) one and mix half of SCOOP of Mass gainer into it. Don't exceed more than 1 scoop otherwise you 'll work hard for CARDIO. Also, don't eat RICE while taking MASS GAINERS. High CARBS just make you more energatic instead of Muscle Gain.

For Glutamine, it does help mate for skinny guys like me. I have used Glutamine + Amino blend with Creatine and it increases my stamina and energy during Workouts. Also, recovery time is good and you can do more reps (More quickly between intervals).

If you eat properly you'll be fine. Don't worry about the rest. Don't eat processed foods… Eat meat, eat vegetables and eat some fruit, nuts and seeds with water. And train! Forget the rest.

MyProtein do some fairly decent mass gainers for reasonable prices.
Only problem I’ve found is that they tend to use shit quality fast release carbs to bulk it up. My workaround is to buy 2.5kg of whey(€30-35) with 5kg of powdered oats(~€12). One scoop of whey with 2 scoops of oats.

This works out around the same price as the comparative mass gainer, but with much better carbs and also some BCAAs from they whey mix.
