Good Video! I Incorporate this type of WO just for weight maintenance. I do a PUSH-PULL WO Monday thru Friday. I set my clock at 1:30 minute/seconds My weight set will take 30-45 secs and the remaining time I use to hit the heavy bag using full to medium power then rest for 2:30 minutes/seconds. And repeat. I'm a street fighter so my training isnt for the ring or controlled environment fighting. It for the street and the average street thug.

I'm not so convinced with weight training…I used to be box at open class level…it didn't work for me…I felt stiff..it take ages to recover from it..and so reduced my time on the heavy bag. Your body isn't a machine. what I found worked better for me was circuit training…push ups pull ups dips ect…work much better in boxing..I remember speaking to Joe Calzaghe years ago in the amateurs…he said the same thing ..its does slow you down and makes you stiff….instead of 1 hour weight training …you could be doing 1 hr more heavy bag training..which in my opinion will develop better coordination, technique speed and @t example look what Joe Calzaghe did to Jeff Lacey! Jeff Lacey has muscles bulging all over and Joe just walked through him. Carl Froch who studied sports science …still stuck to proven boxing training ..and he was a beast in the @t point adding pointless bulk…boxing is a weight governed sport.

I’m watching Mike’s pad work and amazed that someone who does bodybuilding can do well in boxing, I mean he’s fast from what I’m seeing, but maybe not in head movement or footwork that he is not fast, but there’s nothing wrong being a bit slow, he’s hand speed is off the chart
I can see people liking fast and slim boxers because they’re entertaining to watch, but I’m over here watching heavy punchers/sluggers which I prefer.
Mike, who lift weights, does great in boxing, you can disagree with me if you want to, but I enjoy his boxing videos

Work harder Mikey 💪🏻🥊

That muscle will hurt him in boxing. He is way to stiff and slow. I rock with Mike hard. But if he gone box for real he needs to cut some of that muscle.
