Why did so called female bodybuilding disappear? No one wants to see a woman with muscles. Same as MMA, no one wants to see two chicks beat the hell out of each other. I prefer a woman in a black cocktail dress looking beautiful on a Friday night, a woman who celebrates being a woman, not a lost should trying to be something she's not.

Yeah… when you say 'female physiques' but you're showing a masculine body, there's a contradiction there. Rachel McLish has what I would call an athletic female physique. Build more muscle on and you're just looking manly.

On deviantart, female muscle is very popular.. and it’s absolutely awful, basically some of these « female characters » are twice as big as the biggest man , twice as ripped as the most ripped man alive and twice as vascular, it’s just disgusting.. altho to be fair, vascularity, bulk and definition to the extreme never look good especially when put together, no matter the sex..

I think problem was women were doing male body building as women…not building women’s bodies. Why not low the dose and focus on female muscle strengths…glutes, thighs, core.

At the end of the day sure the body building women weren't attractive as the other categories, but who cares if the women were driven enough to compete on that level that's their prerogative and good on them. It takes a LOT of hard work to get to that level and to put them down because you don't find them attractive is petty to say the least

Women's bodybuilding is a waste of time . The 80's look like Rachel or even Cory Everson or her sister. Ppl loved that . Iris Kyle and others took it to the extreme . I just think why even bring it back. Women trying to be men isn't marketable .

Died because the women were becoming just as big and muscular as men. When the women are just as big as the men, it's obvious this sport is simply about drugs and the hard work supplement line was BS.
The problem with any women's bodybuilding division is that the better body will win, and each winner each year will be bigger than the previous, until they all eventually end up at the grotesquely masculine proportions of the now defunk miss Olympia
