Well deserved. Follow his chanel plus followed Lee for years. I feel the lower back is the main area for improvement. Physique is very balanced. He could face the same challenges as the likes of shawn rae where as a complete physique he nails it but someone with insane freaky body parts will leapfrog him at the olympia. I think he would beat shawn roden though as he is more Complete and has a very tight midsection.

Looks like he is in great shape. Hard to say where he needs much improvement in. I see what you were saying about his chest and abs. And, when you mentioned midsection, maybe you were meaning to better see the obliques and for them to extend lower someone mentioned to see more development in his lower late. I can see that as well, though thinking some of thos things mentioned may be genetics. The origins of the muscles to where hand how they are attached.

Wither way, he may just have to tweak and play with his exercises to see how he may be able to tweak differentooks in his muscles to find what may or .at not enhance his look. Mainly it would be the artistry of sculpting his body different ways to fine tune the lights here and there to see how he can improve a great work of art already.

He looks like a bigger version of his daddy, who was an awesome pro in the day. This guy looks very good but he looked a little soft in his abs in some shots. When he flexes he looks like a piece of stone. I bet his dad is very proud.

I hope Hunter Labrada surpasses anything Sergio Oliva Jr has accomplished. Sergio is such a prick . Always talking badly about his dad when he 1st came out and constantly starting drama with other Pros just to get attention. Good thing Lee Labrada got rid of his attention seeking ass and stuck with his son.

Hunter looks Great! He busts his ass and deserves all the credit! I have always been a fan of his dad's, Lee is a uncrowded Mr.O. So I'm thinkin this time around with the advantages Hunter has the kid has a promising career and definitely a good chance of being a future Mr.O! ☝

it is funny to read the commmens of individuals that doesnt know anything or has not ever lift weight. the sports of bodybuilding is coming in on every show with better conditioning and fixing what ever muscle is behind. you cant expect a perfect body because that is done year after years of training. huter is a great young bodybuilding with a beautiful future ahead of him in the sport. stop compare him to his dad , two completly structures. dont be so ignorants. enjoy the sports of bodybuilding and congrat every contestan that makes this shows posibles. this are hard working man with or without genetics they put 100% on their efforts to compete. love the sport .

I agree Nick. The chest needs to come up. I would say the traps are a little on the small side as well.

Reply
Shon Moody November 22, 2018 - 4:36 pm

His physique is almost identical to his dad's, but his chest definately needs to be brought up to his dad's level at the end of his career and his back is kinda weak, but this may be due to his high lat insertions. I always thought Lee's biggest flaw was his back. So maybe it's just genetic. Both their spreads from the front don't look the greatest.

I don't get how you don't see his back is far behind anything the pro's are sporting. You call his back "great" Don't tell me were getting sensitive now and bias. His back needs that 3D look and he's lack thickness in his back and chest. His left peck has a slight tear on his peck major, no biggie but you can see when he does that hand on thigh, while flexing his abs and arms.

Nick, obviously you're right, Hunter does have an elite genetic pedigree. An impressive physique for sure. I was a big fan of Lee Labrada, BUT, that genetic blueprint inherited from Lee has dished up a major problem for Hunter: the Labrada 'lack of lower lat' curse. Perhaps even a double dose of it. His upper back and all other muscle groups are massive but the lower lats are missing. Given all the training effort he's put in to achieving the truly prodigious mass of those other body parts, if the lower lats were going to be equally massive ie, if they could be genetically, they'd be there now. Sure room for improvement would exist, but they'd fundamentally be there to see. People are saying things like, "Oh, he'll get them, Give him time". Reality is, Hunter will have trained his ass off on his back/lats (that's why his upper back is massive) yet the lower lats are short and shallow. Lee Labrada would've killed for thicker, broader lower lats. He hammered himself for years to try and get them. Never happened. No different to a person having high calves, short biceps etc. You can maximize them, and you can wish, wish, wish but you can't change their genetic shape and length. Both Lee and Hunter will know 100%, sadly, that the lower lats won't happen. Not ragging on Hunter. Glad he's achieving his goals. He puts himself forward to be evaluated though and facts are facts.

Ithink his legs are too big for his upper body if you want a classic look. But it is nice to see a small waist on a mens open bb

Very impressed with Hunter Labrada! Has nice, even development with no major weak points like Larry "Wheels," which is what BB is largely about. Large amounts of random muscle will get you nowhere in BB so hopefully, Larry will continue powerlifting because that's where he's naturally inclined to do well.
