These skinny calves look terrible on most those guys, and especially Larry's. Larry has potential, though

looking a-okay, nothing special or noteworthy

None of those guys should get a pro card.. they all looked like shit.

No calves, wide waist, poor hamstring development, high bicep insertions, no triceps sweep, relatively short clavicles, and obviously lackluster condition shown here. I'd say his bodybuilding genetics are only great in that he puts on a lot of muscle. Otherwise, his muscle roundness and proportion are not pleasingly whatsoever. This guy is built for strength, and that's it.

Larry has a ways to go; his improvements thus far are definitely noteworthy.

He’s lacking in a lot of places aesthetically. Abs, calves, leg shreds, arms are lacking. This ain’t it chief.

Big Mcgee November 19, 2018 - 6:42 pm

well he doesnt have tricep nor leg genetics so not sure what Kuwait would do…

Let’s just hope he sticks with gear and stays away from the HGH & insulin so that he doesn’t show up bloated in 3 years with a distended gut and melted muscles.

He needs to get a coach

No flow to his physique. Proportions are off and aesthetics are on vacation. Calves a no-show. Not everyone can power lift and still look like a bodybuilder.

Larry looks better then most of those guys, what the he'll Nick talking about. U can't compare him to a season vet bodybuilder which is what I think he's doing, u have to look at him like an amateur which is what he is, if I had to choose out of all those guys Larry top 3 or 5 easily.

The dude is 23. Phil heath won his first Olympia at 31. Imagine if Larry continues to train and stays injury free for the next 10 years. He could be the greatest of all time.

Larry just doesn't have the right genetics for bodybuilding. Powerlifting and strength is another thing but he just doesn't have the proportions.

Reply
Dr. Psycho November 19, 2018 - 11:33 pm

He should stick to powerlifting imo

Miguel Roman November 20, 2018 - 2:01 am

It's scary to think that Larry is as strong as Ronnie Coleman or almost, but with a much smaller build. If he was as big as Ronnie Coleman he'd be super strong cause damn man he's mad strong with the build he has!

Seriously if Larry went to Kuwait to train to be the biggest mistake of his life he’s so young he needs to grow and let his muscles mature on their own and not get it pushed about all these crazy people in Kuwait that say he need steroids steroids steroids it would be the biggest mistake of his life if he ever went there to train we all know it come on guys you all know it too don’t bullshit yourself

I wonder if he can try Classic then switch to Open when he becomes a pro.

Reply

He will only get better I believe, but his structure to my eyes doesnt seem very good for professional bodybuilding. Just looks odd, especially something like the lack of any tricep mass.

@Nick's S&P….VerYYYYY FewWww can do WHAT Larry Wheels can do.. However it does give me pause and takes me back to a fellow out of Brockton Massachusetts named Craig Houston that can do the switch off from State and National level competitive powerlifting to State and National competitive bodybuilding Showtime all within the span of a couple weeks, and can compete successfully, as well as dominate at times! Period. Houston's era was from around 1988 to 1992 oh, and here's some examples: he was a dead ringer for ifbb pro Shawn Ray and was even mistaken for Sean at an NPC show that Sean Ray was exposing at and Houston was competing at. Obviously Shawn Ray was at a different level however Craig Houston was not far off and the genetics and muscle size was incredible for the time! Houston would win the NPC mr. Massachusetts as well as other qualifiers that got him in the junior NPC Nationals and the NPC Nationals as well! But that time he would also compete in the Mass state powerlifting championships and would take both the deadlift and the squat in the 181 pound bracket. With a deadlift of 680 lb and a squat of 720 pounds and I believe this day he actually holds the state record in one of those categories. The amazing part is that Craig is winning the NPC Mr Massachusetts oh, and just a few weeks later he is winning the Mass state powerlifting championships. The bodybuilder powerlifter and when major competitions, and pure power to break records in major powerlifting contest are rare indeed for a person to be able to flip that other side of the coin and do it successfully. Truly with Larry Wheels dare I say there is an even better example of Craig Houston's Feats' with Larry Wheels… The world this is oyster in a lot of arenas… Competitive powerlifting, competitive Pro bodybuilding, and strongman contest such as the world's strongest man are all things that are open for Larry to do and he must be very very confused on which and when and what to specify in because that time is coming period. I can remember personally when Craig Houston won the mass day powerlifting I believe he flew down to Florida and slept on the beach for the junior Nationals and placed in the top 10 or somewhere around there but he came and flat. When I spoke to him I said Craig why did you come in flat, keeping in mind we're playing football in college together and didn't have any funds or any sponsors, Houston's reply was I didn't have any money so I had to sleep on the beach cuz I couldn't afford a hotel room it is a lot hotter down there then in Boston and the climate flatten him out. Reminding me of this particular contest the NPC Nationals with Larry Wheels where he needs to tweak certain things which can take him from say hypothetical 10th Place do within the top five I just some tinkering but has a lot of us know that the contest could be win and lost and more importantly lost from the offseason doing someone starts that the day Forex Ali preparing for a show that has been picked out the last couple days or even the last day when it's time to get on stage and pose oh, and just one little criteria piece of the puzzle goes wrong..Larry issss a "F.O.N"(freak0fNature)..and is Definitively 0ne2watch in Anything!!.. with the right people oh, the right money, and the right support next to him and behind him he can do unbelievable things! But even doing the what he's doing now he is still the one to watch and it's bringing a lot of excitement an interest behind Fitness power and strength and bodybuilding Sports behind one word……***WHEELS***…. and thank you for posting a video on him Nick. It was a good and interesting choice.. on a personal note me and my Bros….Luv, Nicks S&P !! Keep doing what you're doing

Larry—welcome to reality. Sure, he gets lots of "hits" on social media and he's certainly strong but he's a LONG way away from being a top BB as he got blown out by Hunter Labrada.
