2 million dollars?? God I'm glad i live in Denmark with free medical care
Truly a sad story…
Wow this is far from a Hate or laughing matter. I respect Ronnie bigtime BUT I watched this video and I cringed when I heard him say he might never walk again! I was shocked cause I always believed he would be able to walk again. Now being a cripple in a chair for the REST OF HIS LIFE. I don’t believe anything is worth losing your walking ability in this great life we have. Now what? Was it really worth it? Poor Ronnie. I know he says he would train even harder. Is he protecting his own decision he made on lifting hard all those years? Or if he really had the chance to go back would he train differently? I really wonder. God bless you Ronnie always wishing you the best!
I SEE THIS all the time…"you're hating on blah, blah". No, it's common sense opinion based on what my eyes see and ears hear. We live in a twisted society now where making judgments on people is a bad thing. NO, it's a normal thing. We all see that lifting heavy weights and taking truckloads of steroids IS A BAD THING, NOT A GOOD THING. Now if you want to sell your soul to the devil for glory for the first half of your life, and then pay back the devil your later half…no problem with that choice. Ronnie did that and now pays the price. I wouldn't. You wouldn't. But he did. That's not "hating"…that's making sound logical judgment based on fact. I have a sound, fit physique nowhere near what Ronnie had but guess what…I can walk the beach, play tennis without pain, hold my own at any swimming pool at any resort in the world and actually look good in a swim suit. Not on a single medication at 56, no aches, no pains. Ronnie will never ever be able to do that again. Choices, folks…choices.
What people need to understand is that lifting heavy weights is horrible for your body. Moderate weight with reps is where you want to go. Moderate weight. The human body is not designed for massive weights upon ligaments, tendons, bones, muscles. Can't handle it. That's why steroids and HGH was developed. When you tamper with the body physics, you are asking for trouble. Ronnie found that trouble and now spends his days in rehab. No thanks. Ronnie is a prime example what not to do in your fitness career. Heavy weights will ruin you long term. Count on it.
High reward, high price.
Wat i say everyday
Nicks Strength and Power…Good job giving the source of the interview, unlike Kenny KO who just used the footage
2 million dollars wow!!
The Best!!
He’s in good spirit though
Ronnie trained his nephew Gary into a champion as well
I sure don't hate on Ronnie, I feel so sorry for him and how all this turned out for him. Was all the pain and damage actually worth being the best 8 times?
Well said Nick. Great stuff.
Ronnie is a legend. Such a humble guy too. Typical MacNugget fans talking shit.
No regrets! Ronnie the King!!
Watched the Netflix documentary last night and even in the shape he’s in now he’s still bigger and more muscular than most I see in the gym. There’s a clip of him working as a police officer and walking someone into the station and it’s cartoonish how huge he was.
Ronnie has had so many surgeries and gone through so much pain but the guy is always smiling. He is a legend. The King.
If he did it to himself and now he is paying for it himself then why or how can someone hate on him for that? If he did something that fucked up somebody else up then maybe I could see maybe why people would hate on him
In Britain, Cuba and most other places in the world, he could have had those operations for free!
Nothing but respect for Ronnie. Hope he can atleast walk again.
"I would've done one more rep" Jesus Christ that's a legend right there.
Blaming the surgeon is in poor taste. Its definitely his own fault that he is in this position. The PEDs and extreme training destroyed his body, plain and simple.
I love Ronnie but you can see why Phil Heath trains so safe using the machines now. Power lifting is a brain dead thing to do. If you are lifting a weight you struggle to do 2 reps with grinding your bones together day after day you are nothing but a fucking IDIOT
hey, wouldn't it be cool if he went wheelchair-style bodybuilding? even if he loses his ability to walk, he can still lift, so maybe he can go crazy on his arms.
Why Hate On Somebody That Trained To Be Great ??? Lazy People, Ignorant People.
He should have went to Germany for the surgeries. Better doctors and much less money. Texas Spine Institute sucks.
Has Vince offered the contract yet?
to be the best at anything there is a price to be paid. praise god thru jesus!
Well putđź‘Ť
As usual, excellent commentary.
I really hate that ronnie is going through all of this. Did he not have insurance? I still dont really get why he ended up this way. All body builders lift heavy. What did you mean by his "form" when lifting? Looked good to me.
I looked up the the word Pyrrhic, and I think that would describe Mr Olympia, Ronnie Coleman. The Mr O was a pyrrhic victory, a victory that comes at so great a cost that it is tantamount to a defeat. Nonetheless, he was one of the great ones.
Y'all hate on Ronnie because you're not Ronnie 🤷
He has zero regrets, he is only giving us an update on his status, his life story. He could care less about all the hate and negative comments, only because he has never felt sorry for himself, thank you Mr. Coleman
Thanks for what you have said. Ronnie Colman loves what he has achieved and he is manning up to what he is facing now with a strength of character that is rare with zero complaints. That man truly loves body building, understands that the lengths he went to to achieve his goals had a cost but also afforded him opportunities in life he wouldn’t have had. He is an amazing strong person in mind, body and spirit.
Ronnie i believe God help take care you are strong
Heavy weight makes a man out of you!đź’Ş
Poor Ronnie.. I wish him the best in life. I'm glad he has no regrets but the fact hes in pain so much every day really sucks.
for fucks sake bodybuilding is NOT a sport!!
What's with these hospitals and those costs???! Shessh aren't they supposed to help people?
I love ronnie
Absolutely gutted for Ronnie. He’s a great man. Just the best.
Keeping my fingers crossed for him.
Anybody who hates on Ronnie can go fuck themselves.
Ronnie is a legend.
It is respectable If he has no regrets, its his sacrifice not others…
Wonder if greatest bodybuilder of all time means shit when you trade walking for it lol
Lol he kept training heavy when he wasnt competing , after surgery dude
Great bodybuilder and all but he's obviously not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree. He should've listened to his Doctors instead of blaming them
