Ahhh the old he can't be a bad guy he bought me a beer, said thank you chestnut.. Dan is lying, all the best lies are built on an element of truth, there is no doubt he is in a hospital but he is lying about the nature of his condition he said they gave him a SKIN GRAFT which is impossible with an infection, he wouldn't show bills when it takes two seconda to ask the nurse etc etc….

Dan the bodybuilder is not a scam artist. He just used dirty steroids and ended up in a hospital bed. He is responible for the situation he is in. He will most likely use steroids in the future.

Regan has stated why he didn't look as good. At the Olympia they marked him an inch shorter than at the New York Pro. Which means he had to cut an additional 8-10 lbs. That cut was hard on him. Now when they measure at the Olympia that is your height then on.
The only thing about the Dan guys and his leg is that yes he has been in a hospital for a while and doing videos. He could easily just do a quick shot of his leg so we all see it. Him doing photos just makes it seem odd to me.

I believe that Regan Grimes belongs in the Open Division too. His body just naturally wants to be big, but his head still looks too small in proportion. I wonder if he has done any travelling where head shrinking tribes got at him, or maybe he has been to a shrink so often it has taken a physical toll. Hmmmm. Heh, heh, heh.

I'm usually a very suspicious kinda guy but, to me, the accusations of Dan scamming have come outta nowhere. It all looks legit enough with him in the hospital bed and his story is very plausible. I'm happy to hear of his positive prognosis and his stopping the fund raising speaks more to having ethics for not accepting money if it's not an emergency. I've never heard of a scammer who stops accepting money.
I haven't seen Generation Iron 3 but that's an interesting question and very bold to bring it up in today's world of being offended. I have honestly thought about and discussed the topic since forever so I'll give 'em points for actually bringing it out as they did. I still doubt that I'll watch the movie though…maybe…time will tell I guess.
I really dig the Arnold wood sculpture and can't wait to see the Rocky one. James has a great talent and I hope Sly checks it out and gives him a world stage as Arnold has. Since Arnold and Sly seem to have a playful competition going anyway I'd be surprised if the statues don't become part of that. I hope they do and good for you Nick for helping raise the chances of that.

Grimes is a guy who literally has less than 7 years training under his belt. He's a success story and nothing but a genetic freak. He's a humble Canadian guy, who had about 50.000 instagram followers a couple of years ago, to close to 800,000 now. And he is a guy who we wish nothing but the best for, and by all accounts his chances are going to be much better in the open classes!

It's not his physique that was the problem, it;s how small his head is compared to the rest of his body. It's like they took a midget head and photoshopped it to his body.

The only real question about Dan the bodybuilder is: did he show his leg IN one of his VIDEOS? Or was his "leg" only shown in pics, and then mixed in with hospital videos of his upper half? Because i think that's what makes it an open or closed case…
