man the thing is for any other guy even placing wouldve been great. but for wesley and regan it mustve hurt so much having so much hype behind u, so much fans supporting u, then doing so shit
Wesley was told last year after his win that he needed to come in condition he was not in condition when he won. As far as Hester the reason for his placing at the Olympia because he had a horrible time make no weight. He made it just at the last minute and of course could not carb up significantly for pre judging. It is not that his physique is not what they want. I would have Pierre in 4th. Visser has body parts and conditioning to work on. Classic is more than being able to hit a vacuum and look like Arnold.
WTF Danny Hester showing his gut crazy much looks like shit !! Maybe the Judges have seen that and racking him down. 🤔

Wesley has a odd body. It's very square in my opinion
I wish Wessley would try open bodybuilding. Arnold wouldn't have been able to make the classic weight classes in his prime, so I don't see why Wessley should hold himself back. I think a lot of people would agree with me that if 1974 Arnold was in the Mr. Olympia today, he would win, even against all the mass monsters.

Danny Hester really demonstrates that the bubble gut is largely due to the current compounds people are taking. I see mini bubble guts on a couple of these guys, and they're nowhere near as large as Olympia class competitors. There's going to come a time when people look back on them and laugh.

They need to crack down on the qualifications for classic physique. A lot of these guys look like downsized bodybuilders right down to the gut distention. Classic should be about sharp lines, cuts and flow and slow for natural body structure to show through instead of the systemic growth look. Wesley and Chris bumstead are really the only two guys who embody this in my opinion. They're cut, structural and not systemically bulky and round.

People thinking Wesley is going to take it are out of their minds. Whether or not he has the most classic physique does not matter (sounds stupid right?). Maybe if classic physique was ACTUALLY going for a classic look, Wesley would take it. But they're going for a more modern 'classic' look. Wesley does not have the size or the condition that the judges are looking for like every other competitor has. He'll be very lucky if he hits top 5.

You didn’t mention Steve Laureus he was added to the line up, I know y’all have differences but I’m sure you should have had him in top 3, especially since he placed 7th in the Olympia

I don't understand why everyone is so against there being so many pros in each division. The quality and amount of pros at each big show should 100% be limited, but who cares if we can't name every pro, or if there are too many!? Who the hell knows every NFL player!? There are 3rd string lineman that NO ONE but his homies know lol. The top will always shine and that's all that matters.

How in the hell can wessley compete and win over guys having a long struggle? How can a newbie so easily achieve such great success and those guys who grinded for years will get nothing? Is bodybuilding unfair?
